annie's
it was friday, and i was making my way to the dungeons for potions. i heard footsteps behind me.
"hey annie! wait up!" someone said.

i turned around and saw the weasley twins.
"hey guys." i said.
"so, we're throwing a party tonight, in the gryffindor common room. can you sneak down to the kitchens and grab some snacks?" fred..or george, i can never tell who is who, said.
"of course! when does the party start?" i asked, feeling excited.
"right after everyone comes back from dinner." they said.
"you got it. it's a good thing i have a free period right before dinner." i said.

i made my way to snape's class, a slight bounce to my steps.
wow, i thought. that's a first.

mavis' pov:
it was my free period, so i was making my way to the quidditch pitch, my nimbus 2000 slung over my shoulder.
i really valued my nimbus. mum got it for me a couple years ago. we can't really afford these type of things that often, but she had been saving up for a while now.
i was about to take off, when i saw someone making their way to the pitch. uh oh. was it mcgonagall here to yell at me?
"are you sure we're allowed to be here right now?" it was wyatt.
i shrugged. "you'd think that they would at least put some charms on this thing if they were that keen on us staying away from it."
he chuckled.

i noticed that he had brought his broom as well. it was a firebolt.

"how are we supposed to play?" i asked him.
"that's why i brought this baby." he said, and took a remembrall out of his pocket.

"wait, did you follow me out here?" i asked.
he turned red. "well, i wanted to see if we were actually allowed to play, and i was hoping to get to know you a little better. you seem really nice." he said.

"how do you know what i'm like? i mean, i don't even talk to anybody." i said.

he grinned. "i don't really know. there's something really special about you, and i just can't seem to get you out of my head."
i felt my cheeks heat up.
"thanks. i guess we should start playing."

it was actually really fun. wyatt is really good at quidditch. obviously not as good as me, but he's one of the best quidditch players i've ever seen.

we were exhausted after, so we took a break and sat down on the side.
"so why'd you actually come here?" he asked me.
"what do you mean?" i asked.
"i know you didn't come here just to play quidditch. tell me. and there's no point in lying. i'll figure it out anyways." he said.
i took a deep breathe. "i go outside and ride my broom whenever there's too much on my mind. it makes me feel better." i revealed. i didn't know why i was telling him this. i had never told anyone this before. but i felt like i could trust wyatt, which is weird, since i have trust issues. especially when it comes to guys.

he put his hand on mine. "you can always come to me when you need to clear your mind. or rant. or both. i'm kind of a good listener." he grinned.

i smiled at him. "thanks wyatt. maybe i will." i placed my head on his shoulder.

"there's going to be a party tonight. i heard fred and george talking about it. are you going?" he asked me.
i shrugged. "i don't really know. parties aren't really my thing. are you going?"
"only if you are." he said.
i smiled. "you know what? maybe i will go." i said. he smiled back and rested his head on mine.

"good to know." he said. we sat there in silence and watched  as the sun hid behind the clouds. it was really peaceful.

after a while, i decided to get up.  "we should get going. you don't wanna be late for dinner." i said.
he groaned. "but i'm too comfortable."
i laughed. "get up lazy bones." i grabbed his hand and pulled him up, but he pulled me back down. i fell on top of him. we both stared at each other, and then burst out laughing.
