I'm here with you now
So don't beat yourself up
I know it's easier said than done
But that wasn't love.
He isn't worth your tears
So let me wipe them away.
We can shut the world out together
And take it real slow,
I'll pull you in close
So you can let him go.
I know that life might seem
black and blue
That's because he hurt you.
Its springtime now
So leave him in the cold
I know it feels fresh
But you and him are old,
And my hand you can hold,
And I'll be your distraction,
Because you crave an interaction.
That's fine by me
We can live carefree.
