The glimmering sun peeked out occasionally with a pleasant breeze from the west rustled in the surrounding shrubs that's cooling the guests and respective family members take their seats on either side of the pathway leading to the gazebo. Sweet restraints of classical jazz music drifted through the crowd. On the left side of the occasion there stood out a crimson red Bentley, decked in ribbons and twisted coil of streamers that's ready to whisk the brides away. The words 'Just Married' was painted on the dark rear window and in all honesty, it was lovely just like how lovely fresh cut roses are that filled the air.
Slowly but surely, the classical jazz music came to a stop which make all heads turned to face the end walk as the opening to the bridal chorus started to play. Ryujin came down the isle, looking gracefully beautiful in her wedding gown with embroidery on her bodice and a two-tier veil with a matching crystal head piece. She held a French bouquet in one hand while the other was clung unto Chaeryeong's arm as her companion with their faces smiling wide as they reached the bottom step. There awaiting her was the pastor and her wife-to-be. Yeji was stunning in her black satin tuxedo with a white-wing collar shirt.
The music faded, and the pastor stepped up to the microphone, Bible in hand. He smiled at the assembly. "Cherished family members and honoured guests, I would like to thank each of you for coming out this morning." he said. The sound carried well from the small speakers to either side of the podium. The pastor placed the Bible down before him. "Let us begin by offering thanks to the Lord on this wonderful day." After the prayer was done, he led the two lovebirds through their vows before exchanging their wedding rings.
"Hwang Yeji, do you take Shin Ryujin as your wife?"
"I, Hwang Yeji, take you Shin Ryujin, to be my wife, my partner in life and my one true love. I vow to cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live. Until death do us apart."
"Shin Ryujin, do you take Hwang Yeji as your wife?"
"I, Shin Ryujin, take you Hwang Yeji, to be my lawfully wedded wife. Before these witnesses, I vow to love you and care for you as long as we both shall live. I take you with all of your faults and your strengths as I offer myself to you with all of my faults and strengths. I will help you when you need help, and I will turn to you when I need help. I choose you as the person with whom I will spend my life. Until death do us apart."
The pastor smiled in relief and said, "By the power vested unto me I now proclaim you wife and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Yeji did so, placing her hands on Ryujin's waist. The pastor held up his hands, bringing the crowd to their feet.
Yeji and Ryujin left the gazebo, arms linked together with identical smiles on their faces. They stopped near the end of the walk and formed the start of the receiving line. The family and guests filled down, pausing for hugs and kisses and congratulating the young couple. Ryujin then turned around and threw her bouquet of baby breath flowers behind her which fall straight into both Yuna and Lia's hands as they collided with each other while trying to catch it.
Both of their faces blushed as they ran to the Bentley that's waiting for them. Yeji tried not to step on Ryujin's long white train that dragged the ground as they ran. As they reached the decorated Bentley, Yeji jumped in the driver's seat with Ryujin in the shotgun seat and took off as if they were ready to win a race. The ribbons and twisted coils of streamers whisked in the wind behind them as they went away on a sweet escape.
