Yamaguchi woke up to the sun filtering through the blinds. It was the weekend. He sat up and wiped the drool off of his face. He swung his feet off the bed onto the hardwood floor. He walked into the kitchen to make himself a bagel. He yawned and looked out the window. Sunny. He smiled, he could go surfing today. Tsukkishima came out from the bathroom. He'd just finished his shower. Water dripped from his hair onto his clothes.
"good morning Tsukkishima" Yamaguchi said. Tsukki nodded at him. "are you hungry? I can make you something-" He offered. "no thanks, I already ate." Tsukki replied. Yamaguchi blushed "ah okay." He sat down at the counter and ate his bagel.
Yamaguchi put his bathing suit on in the bathroom. A black swimming shirt and green shorts went over his tan, freckled skin. He put on some sunscreen and came out of the bathroom. Tsukki was on the couch looking at his phone. "Hi Tsukki" Yamaguchi said. Tsukkishima looked up at him for once "excuse me?"
"ah-sorry-Tsukkishima" Yamaguchi blushed and waved his arms around. "I don't mind the nickname" he looked down at his phone again. "um-Tsukkishima-Tsukki- I was wondering if you wanted to come to the beach to hang out with me for a bit?" Again, Tsukkishima rejected the offer without excuses or explanation. Yamaguchi nodded and left for the beach with his surfboard.
