Yasumi stood with the other students as the dust and smoke started to clear. Shigaraki was scratching his neck in irritation. "Hey, what's going on? He's not any weaker at all..." he grumbled as he stared at the number one pro hero. "Did that guy lie to me?!"
"What's wrong?" All Might called out, causing the villain to cease his scratching. "You're not coming over? You said you'd 'clear' this or something, right?" All Might taunted. "Come and get me if you can." His blue eyes narrowed, as if daring the villains to take a step closer. Shigaraki took a step back as his arms shook with fear.
"All Might..." Bakugou trailed off as he stared at the scene with wide eyes.
"As expected, it looks like there is no need for us to fight," Todoroki said.
"Midoriya! We should get out of here now!" Kirishima called out to the greenette. "It'll be worse if we end up getting taken hostage instead!" he added on, to convince his classmate to follow them in retreat. But Midoriya stayed still, staring at All Might.
"Well, what's wrong?" All Might repeated, leaning forward slightly. The villain scratched at his neck again, his nails leaving red lines as he did so.
"If only I had a Nomu. That guy would've been able to go up against him without thinking about anything!" Shigaraki growled.
"Shigaraki Tomura!" Kurogiri said, leaving towards the pale blue haired male to catch his attention. "Please calm yourself," he advised before Yasumi could no longer hear what they were talking about. Whatever he said resulted in Shigaraki to stop scratching his neck, the portal entity then glancing at the students.
Yasumi narrowed her eyes at Kurogiri, trying to figure out what he had planned as Shigaraki slowly lowered his hands. Yasumi turned around at the sound of shuffling behind them, gasping quietly as she saw the villains All Might knock out starting to get up.
"All Might will do something about the main guys. Let's go help the others!" Kirishima said as he hardened his arms.
Todoroki turned towards Midoriya, noticing that his classmate hadn't said or done a thing ever since All Might taunted the villains. "Midoriya?"
"Midoriya-san... Are you okay?" Yasumi asked worriedly as she placed a hand on his shoulder, looking down to see his hands balled up into fists.
Suddenly, Shigaraki dashed forward, heading towards All Might. "This is revenge for Nomu!" he shouted as he drew closer. All Might didn't move as Kurogiri followed Shigaraki, forming a portal as he went.
Yasumi yelped as she was blown back a little, looking to see that Midoriya was no longer standing by her, only a small circle of dust forming in replacement. She turned her head and saw Midoriya lunging right for Kurogiri with his fist raised and ready.
"Midoriya!" Kirishima called out worriedly as Shigaraki was shocked by Midoriya's speed.
"Get away from All Might!" Midoriya demanded as he reeled his fist back.
It was as if everything went in slow motion as Shigaraki reached into a portal that led his hand right to Midoriya's face.
"I won't fall for that again!" Kurogiri said, seemingly irritated at his attempt.
"Midoriya-san!" Yasumi cried out as she saw the hand growing closer to his face by the second, Shigaraki giggling madly.
BANG!
A gunshot rang throughout the arena as a bullet pierced Shiharaki's hand, effectively drawing his hand away from greenette as Midoriya fell to the ground with a grunt. Yasumi and the others turned their heads to see where the bullet came from.
