Yasumi hummed a quiet tune as she packed up her supplies and put on her backpack. She turned her head and saw some of her classmates staring at the open classroom door with shock written over their features. "Is something wrong?" Yasumi asked as she walked towards them. She turned her head to see what they were staring at and gasped.

Just outside the classroom stood dozens of students, clamoring to see inside the classroom. "Wha-What is all this?!" Uraraka asked.

"What business do you have with Class A?" Iida asked professionally.

"We can't get out! Why'd you come here anyway?" Mineta complained.

'I can't see him in the crowd

'I can't see him in the crowd...' Yasumi thought to herself as she got on her tiptoes to see over the crowd. She huffed in frustration and stared at the other students.

"Scouting out the enemy, small fry," Bakugou said nonchalantly as he walked towards the crowded exit. "We're the ones who made it out of the villains' attack," he added on. The ash blond student stopped in front of the crowd, intimidating a few students in front of him. "There's no point in doing stuff like that. Out of my way, extras!" Bakugou demanded, shocking Uraraka and Midoroya.

"Stop calling people 'extras' just because you don't know them!" Iida said, moving his arm up and down.

"I came to see what the famous Class A was like," a familiar voice said over the crowd of students. Yasumi smiled at the sound of his voice. "But you seem pretty arrogant," a purple-haired boy said as he made his way to the front of the crowd. "Are all-... most of the students in the hero course like this?" Shinso asked, making Yasumi sigh quietly as her classmates shook their heads vigorously. Bakugou scowled in response.

"Seeing something like this makes me disillusioned," Shinso added as he finally got to the front of the crowd, now standing at the doorway of the classroom. "There are quite a few people who enrolled in general studies or other courses because they didn't make it into the hero course. Did you know that?" Shinso asked with a small tilt of his head.

Yasumi frowned a bit. 'Hitoshi...'

"The school has left those of us a chance. Depending on the results of the sports festival, they'll consider our transfer into the hero course," Shinso informed them as Yasumi gripped the straps of the bag tighter, hoping that Bakugou wouldn't lash out at her friend. "And it seems they may also transfer people out," he said, causing a few class 1-A students to tense up.

"Scouting out the enemy?" Shinso repeated what Bakugou said as his gaze shifted. "I, at least, came to say that even if you're in the hero course, if you get too carried away, I'll sweep your feet out from under you. I came with a declaration of war."

It grew quiet, Shinso and Bakugou staring each other down until Yasumi decided to step in. She quickly walked over to Shinso and stopped beside Bakugou. "Hitoshi? What are you doing?" Yasumi asked quietly, though she could feel her classmates' stares directed at her.
