I'm Charize, I have a friend.

His name is Nash, and he is gay.

They always make fun of him, so I always defend him.

Many people use to bully him, so I'm always staying by his side. One day, he felt depressed. He tried to cut his wrists. He also tie a rope on the ceiling of his room, good luck and he was stopped. Later that I talk to him.

"Hey, what's wrong? Are you alright?" I asked.

"I'm just tired. Tired of judgemental society and judgemental people." he replied.

"Don't listen to them. Be yourself, don't be shy to show them who you really are. Don't ever listen to their toxic mindset. Show them what you got, don't let them destroy you. They just don't know you that's why they are saying all those things."

"I know Charize, thank you. Thankyou for making me realize every single thing. From now on, I won't listen to them anymore. No more pretending, I will be myself" he said full of courage.

"You're welcome Nash" I said then smile at him.

4 Years had passed...

"Let us now call the famous well-known Attorney in our country. He is a part of our LGBTQ community. He encounter so much struggle in life due to his condition. Let us now here him speak about his journey. Give him a round of applause!" then the crowd start shouting and clapping as he entered the stage.

He took a glance for me and smile before he speaks. I answered him with a smile then shout

"Go Attorney Nash! I'm so proud of you!" then he smile again.

"Good day to each and everyone of you. Speaking in front of you, I'm atty. Nash, at your service. Yes, that's true I am once a part of the LGBTQ community. I encounter so much struggle due to my condition. They always bully me, and so I got depressed. I just wanna say thank you to my girl friend out there" he paused then look at me.

Yes I'm now already his girlfriend.

"She made me realize that I just need to be myself. That there's no harm in trying. Nobody's perfect, you just need to be confident of who you really are. Being a gay is not a crime. Don't let them ruin you, and your dreams. Don't let them destroy you. Show them what you got. And yes, thankyou to my girlfriend, who stays by my side through ups and downs. She was once my bestfriend, and will ever be. I love you. To all the part of the LGBTQ community there, raise your flag! That's all, thankyou so much for listening" then he bowed as the crowd started clapping again.

My heart skips a little when I saw him walking towards me. He hold my waist as he kiss me full of love.

"I love you, Dra. Charize" he said.

"I love you too, Atty. Nash" I replied and we laugh at each other.

I'm now a doctor, he is an attorney. We support each other to fulfill our dreams.
