(Y/N)'s POV
I felt a great disturbance in the force, like something has happened, Ahsoka felt it too, she went to talk with Rex and I went over to another part of the ship to see Jax, suddenly I heard from one of the clones' communicators, "Execute Order 66" I turned around to see Jax coming towards me, he looked like he was in pain, he was grunting and had a look of distress on his face, other clones started to surround me, "Jax, what's going on?" I ask, he just looks at me with a look of worry and says, "Get.. get out of here!" He says, suddenly the clones, including Jax, raised their blasters at me and tried to fire, I stopped them by slicing him up, I tried not to harm Jax, "Jax what the hell is happening!?" I ask, he was trying to fight something within his head, "No! Stay away! Get out of here!" He says shakily raising his blaster to me, it looked like he was trying to stop himself, something's wrong, very wrong, he pushed me away and suddenly started firing at me, Ahsoka was no where to be found, then I realized that Dawn was all alone, I contact her, "Dawn! Can you hear me?" I ask, "Yes, I do" she says, "Oh thank the force! Listen! The clones have betrayed us! We have to get off this ship and fast!" I tell her, she understands and I go off to find Ahsoka

Ahsoka's POV
I heard Rex talking to someone, I couldn't tell who it was but they uttered something I couldn't hear very well, Rex froze and dropped his helmet, "Rex? You okay?" I ask, suddenly the other Clones started aiming their blasters at me, Rex started to grunt in discomfort, "Run!" He yells, the clones started firing at me, I blocked the shots and ran off, what the hell is going on!? I get a call and I answer it, "Ahsoka! You there?" (Y/N) asks worriedly, "Yeah" I answer, "Phew! Look, the Clones betrayed us! They just tried to kill me!" (Y/N) explains, "I know, they tried to kill me too!" I respond, "I don't know what's going on but we need to get out of here!" (Y/N) says, "Where are you?" I ask, "I was at the communicators, I'm coming towards you!" He explains, "Don't, Rex and the others are there, let's meet up in the middle" I say, I don't get it, why would they do this? Something isn't right, Rex would never hurt me!

(Y/N)'s POV
I sneak my way over to Ahsoka's location as she made her way over to me, I told Dawn to come to my location, Ahsoka noticed me and waved to get my attention, I'm just glad she's okay, we hide in a room nearby, "Where's Dawn?" She asks, "On her way, she'll make it, she's smart" I explain, "I don't understand, Rex wouldn't try to kill me on purpose, he told me to run but he kept trying to shoot me" Ahsoka says, "Jax too, it was like he wasn't in control" I respond, it's like something snapped in their heads, and this gave us an idea, we'd have to find Rex and scan him to find any abnormalities

Ahsoka's POV
Getting Rex to comply was tough, I didn't want to hurt him but it was hard when he was trying kill me, but thanks to Dawn coming in at the perfect time, she knocked him out with the end of her lightsaber and we dragged him to the medical bay, unfortunately the other clones found us and tried breaking in as we scanned Rex, we discovered an odd chip in his brain so we quickly tried to take it out, (Y/N) kept the other Clones from breaking in as best as he could but they were slowly coming through, an explosion sent (Y/N) flying back and Clones poured into the room, but then Rex got up and cleared the room of the Clones, "Rex!" I shout hugging my friend who seemed to be back to normal, "What's going on!?" (Y/N) asked, Rex only sighed "The Chancellor had a special order put out in case the Jedi were ever considered an enemy to the Republic, and these chips activated it and made sure we complied.." his words shocked us, and then it hit me, "So Palpatine really is a Sith Lord.." I say, "Master Windu and three other Jedi went to stop him.. they must've failed.." (Y/N) explains, I could hear distraught in his voice, "So what do we do now?" Dawn asks, "We get out of here!" (Y/N) says, "But the other Clones! Maybe we can help them" I point out but Rex steps in, "No.. there's nothing we can do, it's best that we get out of here while we still can" Rex explains

(Y/N)'s POV
We try to make a clean escape, but the other Clones chased us, in order to make a distraction, we hesitantly released Maul and he did what he did best, wreak havoc, the ship was catching fire and was going to explode, we need to leave fast, on our way to the ships, we were surrounded by Clones, we couldn't take them all, but when it seemed all was lost, Jax started fighting against the Clones to protect us, "Jax?" I ask, "Go! I'll hold them off!" He tells, "I'm not leaving you! We can remove that chip in your head!" I respond, he takes off his helmet and shows me the scar that looked brand new, "Already did sir" he shows me the chip, he must've done it while we were dealing with Rex, "Now go!" He yells, "No, I'm not leaving you!" I shout back, "This is the only way sir.. I can distract them long enough for you to escape, don't you worry about me" he explains, I didn't want this, Jax is one of my best friends, he saw the sadness on my face, "It's been an honor sir" he says, "It has.. and call me (Y/N)" I reply, he smiles, "Goodbye (Y/N), may the force be with you" he says, I wipe away tears from my eyes, "Thank you, for everything" I say, with a grin on his face, he waves me off and I narrowly make it to the ship, I watch as he fires at the army of Clones and the ground blows up beneath him, we fly out of the ship right as it exploded, we did it, but at the cost of losing a friend, one of the greatest soldiers I've had the honor of knowing, your sacrifice won't be in vain Jax, I promise
