It didn't take too long for the three to arrive at Coney Island. Sam had been driving, and insisted that both Steve and Bucky should sit on the back of the car. At least the awkward tension was released, well, a little bit.

Bucky, somehow, couldn't get his mind off of what happened that night. He tried all distractions; watching movies, ignoring Steve (which really was a huge debacle), all sorts of stuff. It didn't work. Obviously.

He just wanted to feel Steve's soft lips against his. He wanted to feel it one more time. He wanted Steve to kiss him again, and again.

But he couldn't bring himself to do it.

He knew Steve wouldn't feel the same way. He knew Steve probably wasn't thinking straight when he did that. It was probably all platonic in Steve's perspective. Of course. Steve valued Peggy even more than him. It was just nothing.

Although, it wouldn't hurt to ask him, right?

Maybe.

Bucky could only stare in awe as he catches a glimpse of what has been a huge part of his past. If it weren't for Steve, he would've completely forgotten this place and he would be...lost.

Steve asked why they had to go in the afternoon, when it's clearly enjoyable in the night. Sam explained that Coney Island isn't really open in the nighttime anymore, so they'd have to go in the morning. Well, almost afternoon, really. It was 11:56.

A little while after they have hopped off the car and got in, they just stared at the place for a while, thinking of endless rides and games they could do while they were here.

Steve really wanted to ride the Cyclone once again, since the last time he rode it with Bucky, he threw up, causing an embarrassing scene with disgusted looks from the crowd. Now that he's all big and strong and physically healthy, he most likely wouldn't throw up again, unless, history would like to repeat itself.

"You think you wanna ride the Cyclone again, Buck?" Steve glances at his steel blue eyes, almost getting lost in them.

"As long as you don't throw up again," Bucky teases back, earning a small laugh from Steve.

That laugh, Bucky thinks. That never gets old.

"That was..." Sam inhales. "...that was so fun!"

The group had done their ride on the Cyclone, with Bucky and Steve sitting together, and Sam behind them. Fortunately, no one threw up, and Steve actually had fun, unlike before. He didn't really cared about the coaster back then. He only knew his heart leaped and he's positively gonna throw up.

"We should try those!" Sam pointed excitedly at a few more rides far away. Steve didn't really exactly remember every single ride in Coney Island, so he just followed Sam's lead.

The three enjoyed rides here and there, had a couple people asking for their autographs and pictures, bought food, and just enjoying their stay in Coney Island.

Of course, they eventually got tired, so they decided to take a little break, get a drink, and take a small stroll across the crowded place.

While Bucky sips on juice, Sam quietly elbows Steve on the arm. He whispers to Steve. "Hey, you gonna talk to him or nah?"

Steve sighs. "I don't know, Sam."

Sam could only roll his eyes in response. "Part of the reason why I invited you guys here is to talk about...well, you know...things."

"Well, how am I gonna tell him that I...that I love him? He'll think I just made that up and it's just making things worse!"
