Ondreaz's point of view

Grace and I have been super close latelyWe talk almost every day by the window.
My eighteenth birthday is coming up in 2 weeks, and I am totally planning a mega party
And of course she's invited, I mean, she may be a clumsy introvert but around me she opens up
Is less shy
And seems happier
I've planned the Party to be at my house, but my parents agreed they would go out of town for the weekend, so that I could celebrate without them creeping about.
Even though we aren't technically of age, I knew half of us would end up drinking at the party
Myself included.
Ok so my bedroom would be off limits, and Tony said he didn't mind people in his
The third floor, my parents room was STRICKLY FORBIDDEN 🚫
there was not a chance in hell they were getting in there
So they had the game room, lounge, bar, pool and jacuzzi for free range, Surely that was enough space.
Ok so Tony's room was obviously going to be filled with girls, so I should probably make a purchase of a couple condoms, because it was innevitable that something was going to go on up there and I was not letting anyone get pregnant.
Shit, as I thinking about this too much
Let's ask grace what she thinks
I texted her to come to her window and when I walked over to open the curtains there she was
In her sweatpants, hoodie and she had her hair down
SHE HAD HER HAIR DOWN?!?!
She never wore her hair down, the only time she had ever done that was to cover her bruise after Kayden punched her
"Cat got your tongue?" She asked, looking at me and swinging her legs out the window.
"Uh, um" I stammered, realizing I was staring at her
"Oh I was just surprised to see you with your hair down, you don't usually have it like that"Nice save
"Oh ya" she said, and giggled nervously "I was just about to take a nap, drank to much earlier"
She drinks?
"Why were you drinking" I asked, confused.
"Oh just because I can, my parents are away and I'm raiding their liquor cabinet" she said, and she looked oddly peaceful about everything. How was she so calm drunk?
"How long are they away for" I questioned
"A month" she stated
"Shit grace that's long, how are you gonna stay home Alone for a month, do you have food, can you cook, oh god please don't get drunk everyday grace" I whined
She just laughed
"First of all I'm used to it, second of all food delivery exists if I'm lazy and I can cook, and I don't get drunk easily" she stated
That's why she was so calm, she wasn't drunk she just had something to drink, she could handle her alcohol.
I explained what I was thinking for the party and I asked her what she thought
She picked up a bottle of beer from a table near the window. "Sounds fun, enjoy yourself" she said and took a swig
"You're coming right?" I questioned
"I'm invited?" She asked
"Are you stupid or just thick" I asked, "of course you're invited grace you're one of the closest people to me"
She blushed and so did i.
"See you there" she said and swung her legs back over the sill and into her room.
"I'll see you tomorrow at school?" She asked
"Totally" I said
As she was about to close her curtains I stopped her
"Actually, Tony just got his license and his car, can I give you a ride?" I asked
She smiled "that would be so much fun, pick me up at 7?" She asked
"Perfect"
Dang I was taking this girl to school once again, it wasn't that big of a deal but considering the last time I did this I threatened two girls, grabbed her hand and basically marched her inside, her hand in mine, I was slightly concerned as to what was going to happen
Let's just say I really liked her, like a lot, and I did not want to jeopardize the connection we had by holding her hand again. We'll the last time she didn't resist, she was just shocked for a second, then she walked beside me to our lockers, not letting go.
Maybe she did have some feelings for me
I really hope she did, prom was only a month or two away
And I really wanted her to be my prom date
