Legal acknowledgements
I do not own any of the characters or the universe. They were all created by the wonderful J.K.Rowling and the Harry Potter Universe belongs to her. I did not create the story line, that belongs to the magnificent Jane Austen, and although her work is no longer under copyright and things inspired by her works are legal I would like to give her credit as well. I have simply merged two of my favorite story universes into one fan written story inspired by both, while trying to remain as true to each as possible. I am aware that other Harry Potter adaptions of Pride and Prejudice exist and I did my very best to make my story unique in as many ways as possible and any similarities that do exist I hope are seen as the fact that they are based on the same novels and not construed in any way as plagiarism.
A few of the characters I have written are my own but based on Pride and Prejudice characters and are necessary to the story line. First are the younger daughters of Arthur and Molly Weasley, Kathrine and Mary-Elizabeth, and Hermione's younger sister Lydia Granger. As well as Sebastian Avery son of Death Eater Avery, and Cassiopeia Malfoy, younger sister of Draco Malfoy.
Other Notes: Please do not copy, plagiarize, or steal my writing in any way. I have worked very hard on this story and I hope you will respect that. Comments are welcome as well as polite critiques especially if it needs help to clarify or a grammatical error. I'm kind of a fanatic about proper grammar. This is my first story, so please be kind. Knowledge of Pride and Prejudice is not required, having read and or watched the 1995 BBC mini series will make this more enjoyable.
