Hermione Jean Granger, was often called the brightest witch of her age or of THE age, although it was a little bit biased and she did not always like to be known for that since she was a humble person, and did not seek the attention she got for being "the brains of the golden trio" she also felt that it should be the brightest Magical Person of the age, not just witch, after all she was all about helping everyone get equal rights. She was well on her way toward becoming Minister of Magic, but Hermione had planned out her life, and she had a lot of other things she wanted to accomplish first. After Hermione graduated from Hogwarts, and passing all of her NEWTS, well not just passing, but getting the highest scores in the history of Hogwarts ever her first goal was to work for the betterment of the treatment of House Elves, and from there she was also working towards getting equal rights for other magical creatures and humans with extra abilities as she liked to call it, like those infected with Lycanthropy. She also was working to change laws that were written specifically to aid pureblood wizards and witches and put those of Muggle decent at a disadvantage.

The way she helped revolutionized the place was legendary. It was starting to become a saying within the department if someone said that something could not be done, the reply was "Hermione could do it." Luckily for her it for the most part encouraged her coworkers to do better and only a few of them tried to pass off their impossible tasks to her. Much like Ron had tried to get her to do his homework for him in school. Despite being the most capable she was always the last one to leave the office at night, which did not leave her with much time or energy for much of a social life outside of work.

Hermione was a very beautiful woman and by her mid-twenties which is where she was now, she had truly blossomed, her hair was not quite so frizzy or bushy as she had once been called, instead she had delicate large ringlets of thick chocolate brown hair that fell to her mid back or elbows. Her pale creamy skin was a pleasant contrast from her dark hair and warm chocolatey caramel eyes, a person could get lost in the depths of wisdom that radiated from her eyes, and they always lit up with excitement when she was learning something new.

Hermione was working late as always, but it was close to seven thirty and she was again, the last one left in the office. She was supposed to go to her parents' house for dinner that evening, but first she had to stop by the Burrow and drag Lydia home, as there was not an easy feasible way for her parents to pick her up all the way from Devon when they lived in London being muggles, the did not favor magical transportation, and they only used it when absolutely necessary.

Closing the office and heading to the fireplaces which were Floo Network exit, she gathered up enough floo powder for three trips, and conjured two little pouches about the size of a tea bag for 2/3 of it. Throwing the remaining third into the fire she shouted "The Burrow" she disappeared in a swirl of green flames, and landed moments later in the kitchen fireplace of the Weasley's home.

The scene she arrived to was a little bit awkward, without even having the luxury of having apparated to say, just outside and having the ability to knock on the door to prevent, or pretend that she hadn't heard the argument. Hermione arrived to see Molly and Arthur in a bit of a disagreement and although it wasn't that heated, or dangerous, it's always awkward to observe other couples in a fight, especially ones you look up to almost as your own parents.

Molly in the middle of preparing dinner for the family which was usually the amount of a feast given how many boys she had raised, and although all of the boys had moved out on their own she prepared food as if they were all coming to dinner because the often did. Molly was cutting vegetables was, while on the counter several bowls had been charmed to mix ingredients and a rolling pin was even rolling out the pastry crust for the chicken pot pie she was making. While a colander of peas shelled themselves into a bowl, on the counter molly had been chopping the carrots and potatoes after they had washed and been peeled by themselves in the sink, and the chicken which was speed cooking by magic in the oven. Many powerful wizards and witches have often downplayed the magic it takes to keep a large household running smoothly with "simple charms" as some would call it, but they seriously underestimated the amount of magic it takes to cast nonverbal magic spells following each step of a recipe for not one, or two, but four dishes all at once while also stirring, measuring, mixing, grating, scrubbing, peeling, chopping, rolling and basting. Let's just say that when Molly dueled with Bellatrix in the battle of Hogwarts, Bellatrix was no match for Molly. The menu for dinner tonight was as follows, chicken pot pies Three of them to be exact, chocolate cake, frosting for the cake, a pudding and homemade strawberry ice cream.
