My Big Heart

Driving down this road, with an empty passenger seat.
There's been many friends in this life, but they're all strangers to me.
Feeling the wind touch my skin, watching the summer end.
Watching the moon jump into the sky, feeling so broken.
But I can't shed tears over being alone.
Rather just have myself, than to love and be left.
It's sad and true, but it's not hard to believe.
Even though I no longer have a friend in you, you'll always have a friend in me.

My big heart will always come running, when you call my name.
Despite leaving me when it was all said and done.
My big heart will always have a place for you, even if you don't stay.
