hey guys, i know it's been a while. however this message is going to be about what's going on in the world currently. as most of you know the life of George Floyd was taken right before his eyes. George Floyd was held down by ex police officer, Derek Chauvin. Derek had his knee on George's neck for eight minutes while three other police officers watched. it's disgusting at how the killing of an innocent black male has become'normal' in this society. we watch the news and say/think 'again?' 'that poor family' and it's time to make a change.

now, let's talk about the black lives matter movement. the black lives matter movement was made to address/campaign against the systematic racism, racial profiling, and police brutality. the movement started back in 2013 after George Zimmerman murdered Trayvon Martin. ever since then the movement has fought for justice for the colored community (specifically African Americans). George Floyd's death was the tip of the iceberg. his death was enough for everyone to come together and fight for his justice.

many people have come together and peacefully protested. which brings me to my next point. for anyone who says that the 'riots are unnecessary' or 'they shouldn't be going this far' let me just remind you this what the country was built off of, wars, revolutions, riots, and protests. the protests turn violent because of the cops. they show up with tear gas and rubber bullets and arrest POC for just walking in the protests.

if you say 'all lives matter' please educate yourself. if all lives matter tell me why many innocent POC are still being killed for no reason. a black person is 3x more likely to be killed than a white person. that speaks volume. black people have been oppressed for centuries and they still are. all lives don't matter until black lives matter.

the cops are supposed to protect everyone. no matter what race, religion, or color they are. they're supposed to protect and serve ! the cops HAVE TO DO BETTER! no cop is threatened by a POC, they're threatened by the color of their skin. the racism in america runs deep. it's time to change that. and it's starts with us. please donate to any organizations for the movement, sign petitions, SPREAD THE WORD!!!

it's time for our world to change.
