I opened my eyes Tuesday morning, and never have I felt as light as a cloud like this before.
Before we left the hillside yesterday, Dash told me that he wanted to do this more. Spend time with me, and only me. I wanted the exact same, and it made me painfully aware of how we haven't been spending much time together alone since we got together. I felt like it was kind of my fault; being a bad girlfriend.
Dash thought up a couple of things we could do, as dates. There's a pizza parlor he liked that we planned to eat at today, but we also had ideas to go to the movies, go to a drive-in movie, have a picnic at the park, and come back to the hillside to stargaze...
If fate allowed it, our pizza date should be fun. But for now, I had to get ready for school. I followed my normal routine, and stood before my aunt with my backpack hanging off my shoulder.
"You seem to be in a good mood this morning." She commented, placing her coffee mug down.
"Hm? Oh...uh, I guess?" I gripped one of the straps from my backpack.
"You were in a good mood when you came home last evening too." She tapped a finger against the mug.
"Did something happen between you and Dash?"
Silence was her only response. My eyes flicked everywhere but at her, as my mind raced to come up with answer. I don't think it'd be wrong to confess what happened, but paranoia naturally never knew.
"We just...had a good time, spending time together."
"Aww...that's precious. Though I do wonder, it must have been such a good time because...you two kissed."
"Wh-What?" I flinched. "How'd you know?"
"Aha!" She beamed.
"I didn't, actually."
"... ... ..." The realization of what I just did smacked me, and I put a hand on my face, dragging it down.
"Oh, don't worry Y/N. As cute as it is, I'm not going to pry." She was very amused, but kept to her word and didn't speak more on it.
"Let's get you to school, yes?"

Outside of me being a fool with Auntie, the morning was calm so far. When I got to school, I met up with Dash by our lockers as usual, talked for a minute or two before he walked me to my first class. Instead of paying attention to our lecture during it, I couldn't get him off of my mind.
I did try to take notes, but by the end of class, they were severely lacking. Small doodles of Dash littered my page instead. Oh well. It's a good thing this class wasn't too challenging for me, otherwise having subpar notes would bite me.
I left with the stream of people leaving the classroom out into the hallway, and leisurely made my way to my next class. Normally I felt weary at knowing the day was going to drag on, but this time, I was looking forward to it. Only because of the boy I would eventually be seeing for lunch, then in our last class of the day.
I was down the hallway from my next class, but I stopped when I felt something...odd, from the ground. I maybe wouldn't have paid it any mind if other students around me didn't also stop and stare at the ground in confusion, so I wasn't imaging things.
Frowning, I took another step, but stumbled when a much stronger force shook the ground. Vibrations! Where were they coming from? Were we having an earthquake right now?
A lot of people around me seemed to think so, as a clamor started up, and they started rushing along. Unsure if I should move, I watched the ground and silently waited if another vibration passed...
