A.N. Unfortunately, it seems links aren't supported in stories on this site, so I have to ruin this chapter's build up and reveal Reader's suit at the top here. But yeah...Reader gets her new suit this chapter.

"Looks like school is still being held today Y/N...questionable, but I suppose the school's authorities care about education."

I loudly groaned, holding my head in my hands. Of course school was still in session, despite getting damaged by Ruthless' attack yesterday. Although, it was only windows that were broken...eh, whatever. It's a good thing I got up now to get breakfast instead of sleeping in like I was so tempted to do.

There was a strong energy in the air when I got to school, almost tangible with how it clung to the atmosphere. People were all off with their friend or in small groups, gossiping about who knows what. I have reason to believe the event yesterday is the main topic.

A very familiar teen with blonde hair was already at his locker, along with a few of his friends, when I approached. The sight of him made me smile, in a dopey way I'm sure, but I wordlessly opened my locker. I didn't want to interrupt their conversation.

The sound of the metal door swinging open caught his attention, and Dash came over to me on his own, features alight with a cheeriness I wasn't expecting.

"Hello~."

"Hey." I blinked, looking into his eyes. "You look happy."

"And I'm sure you will too, in like 5 seconds." Mischievousness changed his smile into a smirk. He leaned in close to my ear, and whispered:

"Edna finished your suit."

"Really?!" I shouted, forcing Dash to jolt backwards with a laugh.

"Yup. You can go get it today."

"That's great!"

Dash was right, I probably looked as happy as he did. We shared a moment of laughter together, laughter any passerby or onlookers wouldn't understand, with the glances given to us proving exactly that. It was delightful. In a personal, intimate sense.

A whistle behind Dash had us both turning to the source, which was one of Dash's friends: Leo. He was squinting.

"What's so funny over there?"

"...It's a secret." Dash casually responded.

I suppressed a squeak when one of his arms came around to hold my waist, gently pushing me into him. I inhaled the scent of his clothing, fresh with just a hint of his cologne, and relaxed into his embrace. I didn't know why exactly he hugged me, but then again, maybe there wasn't a reason. I sure didn't mind either way.

Ever since Dash told me my suit was done, all I could think about was it. The day seemed to crawl by at a snail's pace as a result, but fortunately my patience paid off. It was time for science, and after the class was over, I was free!

Right at the beginning of class, Ms. Bondde announced to us she had to leave for a doctor's appointment before the class was over, but we would be getting a temporary substitute to sit in. She then gave us the usual lecture and book assignment of the day, but since the assignment was somewhat hefty for this section of the chapter, she let us work in groups that we could form ourselves. Everyone settled into their circles, though judging by the noise, I figure most of them are chatting about non-classwork related things.

Dash and I sat together and did work on the assignment however, finishing it with hardly any trouble. Just after we did and turned it in, there was a knock on the door, which Ms. Bondde opened.
