As the Doctor had guessed, the others began to wake up around an hour later. Rose and Riley being the first up, and thus the first to witness Win fast asleep in the Doctor's arms. The Doctor had even nodded off himself, his cheek now resting on top of Win's head. Rose insisted that she get a few photos of the two before they woke them up. On the other hand, Riley wasn't sure what to make of the little scene.
"Riley, stop scowling at him, I mean it!" Rose hissed quietly to the Irishman who was practically looming over the two sleeping obliviously. His arms crossed over his chest.
"I'm not scowling." He protested just as quietly, but he was indeed scowling. Not missing the fact that Win's arms had wrapped themselves around the Time Lord in her sleep and buried her face into the side of his neck.
Rose rolled her eyes at him. "Yes, you are. How do you know he didn't just get too close to her while she was sleeping? I'm sure you're aware that she latches onto anything alive and cuddles it to death if it gets too close." She said this despite knowing that hadn't been the case. She woke up for a short time during the night and saw them talking with each other, already in their current position. Well, almost in their current position.
With a huff Riley turned away. "I know, but that's my little sister, and she's cuddling an alien man in her sleep." He mumbled and Rose snorted.
"What? You don't think they look cute together?" She grinned at him. "You should have seen them in the last few days. They've been flirting with each other without even realizing they're doing it." Riley groaned.
"Alright, I'm waking them up, hope you've got all your photos." Rose nodded, but kept her phone at the ready, wanting to see their expressions when they wake up and get more photos of that. Riley cautiously approached the chair from behind, most likely so that Win wouldn't latch onto him too, and shook the Doctor's shoulder just enough to wake both of them.
The Doctor jerked up and looked around quickly as though searching for danger. Only finding Rose grinning at him and snapping pictures of him. He blinked at her in confusion before feeling something shift on his chest and looked down. Heat blazed though his face, turning even his ears a dark shade of red. Win made a muffled whining sound against his neck, tightening her grip on the Doctor.
"Five more minutes." She asked deliriously, not realizing where she was, or who she was sleeping on.
"Triah..." The Doctor trailed off, voice a little bit higher pitched than normal, as he attempted to gently remove her arms from around his torso.
"No, comfy." Win whined again, trying to push her face more into his neck. The Doctor swallowed hard as the other two laughed, waking Harriet up as well.
"Why, why's everyone laughing?" Win murmured, finally lifting her head and looking around the room in confusion, much like how the Doctor had. It took her a minute before it finally clicked, and her face became just as red as the Doctor's.
"What's going on?" Harriet asked as she got to her feet, watching as Win and the Doctor scrambled to their feet as well, refusing to look at each other out of embarrassment.
"Doctor," Rose said, gaining the alien man's attention. "We did tell you what happens if you get too close to Win while she's sleeping." The Doctor nodded, face and ears still burning while Win was pretending to be preoccupied with the drawing she'd made while the others had slept.
"Well, as interesting as this conversation is," Mickey's voice surprised everyone as it came through the speaker. "But you might want to listen to this." Everyone crowded around the table to hear what was coming through the speaker.
"Our inspectors have searched the sky above our heads and they have found massive weapons of destruction, capable of being deployed within 45 seconds." The voice of a disguised Slitheen spoke and the Doctor frowned.
