SCHOOL WENT BY IN A SORT OF NUMB BLISS EVEN IN SIXTH WHEN I SAT in the chair next to Lex sharing his snacks.

"Do you have any plans today?" Lex asked sixth period.

"Yeah my mom is taking me out to dinner." I told him and Lex nodded.

"Any plans this weekend?" Lex changed the topic to another day.

"Not that I can think of, do you have plans?" I asked changing the subject over to him. Lex smiled at that.

"Nope, do you want to add some plans?" Lex asked biting his lip as he watched me.

"Mm, maybe, depends on the type of plan you have? Is it going to be fun, does it involve food?" I asked with a smile loving how this was going.

"Most definitely will involve food and we can make it fun. How does a nice picnic in the woods sound to you?" Lex asked a smile on his face as he glanced at the library doors at the students who came in disturbing us.

Lex paused our little game to go help them even though he was irritated but therefore he is in the library. Lex helped the girl check out her book all with a smile even though he wasn't pleased.

After she left, I had his attention on me once more as I smiled at him.

"So, you were talking about a picnic in the woods." I told him with a teasing smile as Lex turned on me with a grin.

"Yes, a picnic in the woods. We've done a few trails, so I thought I'd show you a nice spot in the woods where we can just sit down and relax. A nice blanket, some good food to eat, and whatever else you want to do." Lex smiled.

"Whatever else I want to do." I mused and Lex nodded.

"As long as it isn't anything crazy like robbing a bank or starting a fire, we can do it. Although I wouldn't mind maybe harassing a few people though. As long as it doesn't cause too much trouble." Lex fixed and I nodded.

"I think I can work with that." I smiled at him which he returned.

"Great so I can have you all to myself Saturday for a nice picnic in the woods around dinner time." Lex decided.

"I thought you didn't want me in the woods when the sun starts going down." I reminded him with a smirk on my face. Lex gave me an unamused face no doubt remembering the warning.

"Ambrosia, the scariest thing that'll be out there with us would be me. I'm pretty sure we'll be fine, and on top of that I also told you unless you wanted me to come with you," Lex started.

And here we go.

"I'll be here with you on the picnic so don't worry about that baby."

I watched him raising an eyebrow which he countered with a smirk. Lex crossed his arms waiting to see if I had any arguments to it.

"Saturday night." I agreed and he smiled leaning over and kissing me his fingers trailing down my cheek.

We spent the rest of the period just chatting before the bell rang and we gathered our things.

"Do you want to grab a milkshake before we go home?" Lex asked turning to me and I nodded as we gathered our things and headed out to the car. Lex got in and started it before off we were for milkshakes.

Lex and I did a quick stop for milkshakes with him running inside and getting us matching mint chocolate chip milkshakes before driving back. Lex quietly sipped his as we turned onto the road and he pulled into his driveway and turned to me.
