SUNDAY LEX AND I SPENT VIDEO CHATTING WITH EACH OTHER SINCE his parents were busy. Monday came and he waited for me at his car.

"You look beautiful as always." Lex commented as I smiled at him as he opened the door for me. I was wearing a simple skirt and blouse today.

Lex got in and started the car up and smiled. I settled into the seat of the car as I adjusted my bag on the floor to make sure it was in the right place. Lex smiled over at me as he drove off towards the school.

"You want to stop for some coffee?" Lex asked and I nodded at that. Lex pressed the gas as he sped off to the coffee shop as we got out.

We got the same frozen coffees as last time before going to the high school where Silas awaited at his car. Silas his own coffee in his hand as Lex stepped out and I grabbed my bag before coming around the side to Lex's side.

I remained at Lex's side sipping my coffee as he talked to Silas. "But yeah, I saw Mara talking with Lyra. You know Lyra who told Mara she'd snap her like a twig if she ever stared at Adrian again." Silas said.

Lex frowned at the mention of Lyra. He didn't seem to like her one bit. Lex shifted and nodded, "Thanks." Lex said and Silas nodded.

Lex turned around and we walked into the school as Silas went over to his class. Lex held my hand as he walked me to class. Lex stopped at the door glancing in where Adrian and Lyra were seated.

Lex turned back and smiled at me ignoring them. He gave me a quick kiss tasting of his drink as I smiled him.

"I'll see you at lunch baby." Lex said before kissing my forehead as he left. I smiled as I took a sip of my drink walking into the class. Lyra looked up at me. The lack of smile she gave me had me uneasy as I sat down and took a sip of my drink.

I may not be the best telling vibes type of person, but Lyra didn't seem happy. And on top of that Silas did say Mara had been talking to her. I could only imagine the vile things Mara told her about me. But I didn't understand why she'd believe them. As far as I'm concerned, I had done nothing wrong to anyone.

I minded my own business. The only person I actively interacted with excluding Lex would be Silas. Silas and I had talked a few times and I also showed him how to blend with oil pastels.

Other than Silas I only talked to Lex. I happen to be with Lex most of the time. Never did I really go see anyone else. The most was the day I had sat with Lyra at her table with all her friends which had been awkward. I felt as if one of her friends had been flirting with me. And now I am in a relationship.

I had no idea what Lyra's problem could be. What the hell could Mara have possibly said to make her look at me like that. Lyra looked at me as if I had just gutted her best friend and bragged about it.

And I had no idea how to ask her about it either without offending her in some sort of way. So, all I was left with was to ignore it. If she wanted to talk then we would talk. For now, I had a nice coffee to finish and her not to worry about.

I could feel the gaze of people on me throughout the day. The only relief was at lunch when I decided the library was a nice place to go. Lex didn't question me on it and simply same in with me as we ate.

Lex smiled at me.

"So, how's your day been so far?" Lex asked.

"Exhausting. Lyra is looking at me like I killed her best friend and it's weird. She's never looked at me like that before." I murmured.
