٭Twenty-Two. A Special Relation٭
LEX MADE SURE TO KEEP QUIET ON WHERE THIS DATE was. No matter how much prying I did where that was concerned, he kept his lips sealed where all of this was concerned. It was quite frustrating.
But I would endure it. He would either give in during the drive or I'd find out as he pulled up hopefully the first one. I just happen to be very curious on the date. Lex however kept his lips sealed on the destination.
Not a single peep came from those full lips of his except a smirk. A smirk that made my knees weak at this point. He remained silent on the destination and simply kept his dark gaze on the road as I sighed and settled into the seat once more.
"That's the best option Ambrosia because I'm not telling you." Lex mused. "Was it necessary to tell me that?" I asked and Lex nodded. "Trust me Ambrosia you'll survive your curiosity until we arrive doll." Lex spoke testing out yet another pet name sending shivers down my spine.
"We'll see." I murmured my only response and defense to his words that had penetrated my defenses. Lex simply smiled at me before he turned his attention to me with a bit of a smile on his face. Then he turned back and smiled before we drove off music filling the silence.

"I thought some lunch would do us some good." Lex said as he pulled up to the window of a fast food restaurant. "It would." I commented giving him a small smile which he returned before turning back to the window. "Fancying anything?" Lex asked as I looked over the menu.
"Double cheeseburger and some cheesy tots." I told Lex and he nodded. "Sounds good." Then Lex ordered our food before driving forward to the window as I looked over. He had ordered us both some sweet tea to sip on as well. Soon we had our food.
"So, is it just some lunch?" I asked taking a bite from my burger. Surprise whelmed me at how juicy the burger was. Lex smiled. "It's fast-food but family run." Lex added with a bit of an amused smirk on his face as he ate his burger not caring at the quality of it.
Fast food rarely had quality as nice as the food I was munching upon. Lex smiled. "It's one of my favorite places to eat at." Lex spoke. "It's good." I told him and Lex smiled. "So, mark this place down?" Lex asked and I nodded at that.
"I know fast food isn't an ideal date, but this is just to keep us from being hungry." Lex spoke. "Speaking of this place, when will I get some sort of hint on it. The curiosity is tearing me apart?" I asked once more going in.
Lex smiled at me; a smile full of mischief.
"I'll give you a small hint and that's only because I am feeling nice. It's outside. I thought we could enjoy the fresh air as well as some beautiful scenery." Lex spoke as I ran my thoughts all over it.
"Is it some sort of trail that we can walk?" I asked. "As lovely as that would be it isn't that. Taking you on a trail would have been too obvious and easy for you to guess which I'm not too fond of. I'd like this to be as much as a surprise that I can make it out to be." Lex mused with a smirk.
"Of course, you would." I noted and Lex nodded a shameless smirk crossing his face once more as I sighed. Least I had gotten some sort of hint out of him. Fresh air and beautiful scenery to gaze upon.
Besides a trail I wasn't sure on what else it could be. I turned my attention back to the burger as I finished it and licked my lips. "Good?" Lex asked and I nodded a smile on my face. "I completely vote coming back here." I told him.
Lex smiled at that. "Noted." Lex spoke as we finished up our food. The cheesy tots were one of the most satisfying things. And unlike Burger King they weren't seasonal according to Lex which sweetened the deal even more. As we left the small shop, I knew I'd be returning there.
