٭Twenty-Three. Temper Snap٭
FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND I FELT AS IF I WAS FLOATING ON CLOUDS and it was all because of Lex. It was one of the loveliest feelings I had ever experienced before. And when school came the next day, I still felt like I was on cloud nine. I love the feeling as well.
It felt as if I was floating through the air. When school came, I was happily getting ready. I put myself in a skirt yet again hoping to get a compliment from Lex. The skirt is a simple lavender color and reaches a little above my knee and I paired it with leggings.
Once that was done, I was eating another fruit parfait and floating through the house as I got ready. Once I was ready out the door I was after bidding goodbye to my mother. Like expected Lex was at his car leaned against the hood of it on his phone.
Happily, I moved over as Lex glanced up. A small smile worked up his face. "You look cuter than usual today." Lex spoke glancing at the lavender circling my legs as I smiled at him. Play it cool I reminded myself. No need to act like an idiot and embarrass myself.
Lex opened the for me as I climbed up into the passenger's seat before Lex came around. Then he was in the car as the two of us buckled up. "You should come to the library today." Lex spoke as he started up his car with a smile on his face.
"Maybe." I spoke already knowing the answer. When sixth period came around, I'd find myself in the library looking for another book before I'd sit down with Lex. I smiled as I leaned back in the seat and Lex drove off to the school leaving our houses behind us.

Silas waited like usual.
He was perched in front of his car with his arms across his chest when Lex pulled up next to him. This time he was on his phone instead of just staring out into the parking lot. Once Lex pulled up, he put his phone in his pocket.
The two of us got out as I grabbed my backpack and stepped out of the car brushing some hair behind my ear. Lex went over to Silas as the two began talking. "I'll see you later Lex." I told him going over and hugging him.
I half expected him to hesitate since it was in front of Silas. But he didn't. He gave me the hug and smiled. With that I walked away as Silas spoke. "You hugged her." Silas spoke.
"Am I not allowed to hug my girlfriend?"
And with that he officially declared it to his first friend that the two of us were now dating. It was no longer weird stares and me trying to hide blushes. It was official. We were a couple now. It was no longer hidden anymore. Silas now knew of the relationship between Lex and me.
I had no doubt that his friends would soon learn it as well. But at this point I didn't care. I didn't care if they had a negative reaction. Well I might care a little but if it pissed off two certain people.
Honestly, I hope it was a kick in the gut to the two of them. With a smile on my face I made my way to my first period class and took a seat in my desk. Lyra would be in here soon followed by Adrian. I bit my lip as I pulled out my sketchbook and paint markers, all the supplies I would need.
Then I got to work on a new page as I sketched out an outline. I was quiet as I focused in on it as students began to fill the room. My sketchbook was full of all sorts of things. But right now, I was working on a person this time.
With my paint markers I blended the skin color to perfection before working my way onto the eyes. As I received the perfect shade of green the last bell rang as the teacher came in and I looked up. Lyra was talking with Adrian a grin on her face.
