CHAPTER SIX✨

"Hey guys. Meet my new friend Ayush. Ayush, she is Roshni and she is Preeta"

"Nice to meet you girls" He plastered a huge smile on his face.
"Hi Ayush. When did this start?" Roshni teased them
"Excuse me" Kiara cleared her throat.
"Your relationship"
Preeta slapped on Roshni's arm.
"They are just friends .Okay"
"Oh hello. A girl and a boy can never be friends. Did you forget what saint Rahul said 'Pyaar Dosti hai' ".
"This is real life not reel life"
Kiara gasped and sat with them.
"Okay girls. See you later"
Ayush waved at them as he went out of the hostel mess.

Mayra, Neil's friend was Ayush's classmate. They planned to frame Ayush as a thief. She kept her bracelet secretly in Ayush's bag.
She scurried in the classroom.
"Has anyone seen my diamond bracelet?"
The students were gushing and whispering.
"Mrs. Murthy. My diamond bracelet is missing"

The professor requested the students to check their bags and pockets.
Ayush took out the diamond bracelet from his bag. He looked at the bracelet with wide eyes.
"What is it doing here?"

Everyone turned their faces towards him.
"This is my diamond bracelet"
Mayra snatched it from him. "Oh no! Where are the diamonds? Ayush give back the diamond"
"Man, I don't know how it landed in my bag" Ayush panicked.
"Liar. Then will it fly and land in your bag" Karan defended.
"Mrs. Murthy. You have to do something" Mayra looked at the professor with puppy eyes.
"Okay relax. Ayush, come with me"

Ayush was chided by the co-ordinator and he was asked to compensate the diamonds. Kiara learned about the incident and went to Ayush.
"Ayush. This was Neil's plan, they framed you for theft. You don't have to compensate. Let me handle this"
Kiara assured him.

Mayra and her friends were chitchatting in a corner.
Kiara pulled Mayra's hand and placed the diamond bracelet on her palm.
"Your bracelet"
Mayra smugly smiled. She wore the bracelet in her wrist.
"Hey..." She paused for a minute. "This is fake"
Kiara smirked. " Fake people wear fake things. Take it and go to hell"

Mayra clenched her teeth. "You bitch!"
She raised her arm, Kiara blocked with her arm and put her hand down.
"I know this was planned by you and Neil. If I show the CCTV footage, you'll be exposed." Kiara whispered in her ear.

Mayra informed Neil about Kiara.
"Hmm. She is stubborn but will agree with me" Neil said.
"What's your plan?" Karan asked.
Neil sneered at him.

Ayush sneaked from his hostel and knocked on the door of Kiara's dorm.
She opened the door.
"Ayush you.." Kiara glared at him.
"Ssh! Let me come in"
Kiara closed the door.
Ayush ruffled his hair. He was looking pale. "I want a help from you"
Kiara nodded her head. "Okay. So what help you want?"

"Help me in Accounts. Please" He pleaded.
"BTW , where is Preeta" Ayush said.
"In the bathroom. She'll not mind.
I can help you if you'll help me in Mathematics. God! I hate that subject" Kiara said irritatingly.
"Done" Ayush stretched his muscles.

They studied the whole night and next day gave their tests.
"How was the test Kiara?" Roshni asked.
"It was fine." Kiara sighed. "Come with me to the canteen. Come"

Kiara dragged Roshni to the canteen.
Like always, Neil and his pesky fellows were laughing and gossiping.
Kiara ignored them and slumped on the seat with Roshni. Neil was staring at her which made Kiara insecure.
"Thanks" She took the coffee and bagel from the waiter.
"Kiara. Look at Neil" Roshni said drinking her coffee.
"Don't look at him" Kiara concentrated on the bagel.

"Hey Kiara" Ayush chimed putting his arm around Kiara's shoulder.
"My test was damn good yaar. Thanks to you"
Kiara gave a petty smile. "Thank you to you too"

Neil approached them. " Hi Ayush. I wanted to say that we have a football match tomorrow. Why don't you play against us? I mean to test out football skills. I have heard that you are a good football player. So if you can defeat us, then you will be selected for the team playing in Inter College Football Championship. What say?"
"Count me in" Ayush smiled.
Kiara narrowed her eyebrows.
"I got your plan but I won't let you succeed this time Neil"
Kiara said  and left the canteen.

The match started, Ayush gave Neil's team a tough game to win. While playing, Neil put his leg out making Ayush slip and fall on the ground.
As a result, Ayush receives a huge wound on his knee. Kiara rushed to the infirmary after hearing the news.

"Ayush. Oh God! This is a big cut. I told Aman to take care of, I was damn sure that he'll do his wicked tricks" Kiara scoffed.
"Aman.. As in Neil's friend" Ayush said
Kiara shook her head.

"What you did was not right bro? Ayush is a good player" Aman reprimanded Neil.
"I wanted to take revenge on Kiara and I don't want anyone to overtake my captaincy?  Neil derided.
"That means you are scared of Ayush's capabilities"
Neil gave him a deathly glare.
Aman chuckled "Kiara is right. You always do for your own benefits. You don't care for anyone. We are fools to serve you in the name of friendship"

"Oh. Now you are on Kiara's side. "
"  I am not on anyone's side" Aman retorted.
"Aman.." Neil shrilled.
"Shut up Neil. Now, I don't need you anymore. I was blind in this fake friendship . Thanks to Kiara, she brought me on the right track or I would have committed a deadlier sin. I am not your slave Neil Mehra"
Aman packed his things.
"You are leaving me because of this Kiara" Neil yelled.

"Kiara opened my eyes and will surely open yours too"
Aman went with his bags to change his room leaving Neil stunned. Neil considered Aman as his brother. He admits that he made his friends do wrong things but he didn't want to lose them especially Aman.
