Present time: July 4, 12:00 EDT
A family of three were having a barbecue at the park. They watched astonished as people ran by screaming. Beams of ice followed the crowd.
The family Of three looked up in time to see a shadow fall over them. "Enjoying family time?" Freeze powered up his freeze gun. "My family has other plans."
He leveled his ray and froze the family of three.
Freeze jumped to the ground and looked around. He readied his gun and was about to fire. But two projectiles appeared and knocked the gun away. "Batman." He growled. "I was wondering when-"
He was cut off by two eerily familiar cackles rang in the area. One female and the other male. Two pairs of feet slammed into his helmet and flipped away, almost knocking the villain over.
Four bird-o-rangs flew out and hit the man's helmet, this time cracking it and knocking the villain over.
"Oh, Boy and Girl Wonder."
Said villain looked up to see Batman's sidekicks/partners, Sparrow and Robin.
Freeze got up slowly. "The bat send you to drag me back to prison? Frankly I'm underwhelmed."
Robin sighs "Great, I'm Kinda in a hurry here."
"Kids...always in such a rush." Freeze powers up his freeze gun again.
"Not talking to you." Sparrow saids slightly annoyed. Freeze's eyes widened, realization donning on him, and turned around.
Batman jumped high above the ground and cast his shadow, temporarily blotting out part of the sun. He came down and brought a well aimed punch down on the villain. Knocking said villain out cold.
"You haddd to be dramatic and take your time." Sparrow whines. Batman rolled his eyes under his mask.
"Come on! Today's the day!" Robin said grinning wildly. Batman launched his grappling hook with both the sixteen and thirteen year old birds following quickly behind.

"Ya know for being the fastest people on earth they're somehow always late." I commended. Getting laughs from the others present.
A few moments after the words left my mouth the mustard bottle and ketchup themselves zoomed in.
"Oh, man. I knew we'd be the last ones here!" Kid idiot said crossing his arms. I sighed and face palmed. While Robin (who was beside me) stifled a giggle.
With that the four leaguers and their five parters started walking towards that Hall.
"Is that Batman?"Uh yeah, who else dresses like that?
"Oh, my goodness."
"I see Sparrow!" Huh I guess being in the bis the longest makes me more noticeable.
"I see Flash and Flash Jr." Oof
"His name is Speedy. Duh." Nope, sorry wrong partner.
"No! Speedy's Green Arrows sidekick." Thank you random person.
"Well, that makes no sense." I have to agree there. Why my boyfriend named himself speedy is beyond my knowledge.
"Ready to see the inner sanctum?" GL asked Roy or speedy, take your pick.
"Born that way." My boyfriend replied.
"I'm glad we're all here." Aqualad said.
"Have all five sidekicks ever been in the same place at the same time?" I winced at KF's word choice.
