[Tsukishima]
"Shh you'll wake them up.."
"Konoha-san you're the one making all the noise. I want to send a picture to our Karasuno chat! Yamaguchi will have a field day making fun of him when they meet next week-"
"Shoyo, quieten down."
"Sorry Kenma!"
I slowly blinked open my eyes, squinting against the sunlight peaking through the blinds. I was hugging something warm and so, to try and block out the light and voices, I pressed my face against it, shuffling further under the warm covers.
"I never thought Tsukki would be the little spoon, Akaashi."
"Because he's taller?"
"Yeah because he's taller!"
"Ehh Bokuto-san stay quiet!"
"Anything for my precious kouhai!"
"Oh my God shut up.." The pillow I was nestled against groaned the words, arms pulling me closer to the warmth. Mmm warmth...
Hang on- pillows don't talk.
I opened my eyes properly, pulling my face away from Kuroo's shoulder to stare up at his face groggily.
"...eh?" Was all I managed out. Kuroo was hugging me and I was apparently hugging back, nestled close against his warm chest. I blinked once. Then again. Then I looked up at whoever else was in the room.
"What?""He's not wearing his glasses, hold on." Akaashi murmured, walking somewhere beside me and slotting my glasses onto my face. After blinking once more, I took in the faces of Bokuto, Akaashi, Hinata, Kenma, Konoha and Komi standing either in the doorway or, in Akaashi's case, beside the bed. Then I turned to look at Kuroo, who had opened his eyes also to stare at me in shock. There was a beat of silence, both of us just staring at eachother before we quickly pulled away, jumping off either side of the bed.
"Clothes?" I mumbled over my shoulder, checking myself down to make sure I still had all my clothes on.
"Clothes." Kuroo nodded in return, making me sigh in relief before glaring at the people in the doorway, who quickly slammed the door shut.
Akaashi stood there awkwardly, shuffling his feet and messing with his fingers before the door opened a crack so that he could quickly scurry out, then the door closed again."God that was so awkward." I groaned, rubbing my face to find that my cheeks were bright red. I patted them desperately, trying to calm my flush down while simultaneously trying to still my beating heart. I swear, it wasn't healthy for my heart to beat that much!
"Extremely awkward." Kuroo agreed, shaking his head and leaning against the wall. "Never talk about this again?"
"Please." I nodded, then we fell into silence for a moment.
"Wait hang on! Akaashi and Bokuto were locked in my room, how did they get out?"
I thought for a moment before shaking my head. "Kuroo, we all have the same locks. Plus they can be unlocked from the inside."
"Ah shit, you're right." Kuroo rubbed his eyes and I watched as he winced, no doubt from a slight headache.
"Well, knowing them they used that perfectly romantic moment to talk about the weather or something. That's this year out the window ugh.""It was messy anyway because someone decided to allow alcohol."
"Hey, Bokuto likes getting drunk at birthdays! I was doing it with him in mind because I'm just so kind." Kuroo huffed indignantly, passing by and ruffling my hair. I grumbled in response and he laughed, shaking his head.
"Fine, if you're still so pissy about it I'll make you some breakfast alright? Will that get me in your good books again?"
