Whooo chapter 100!! Thank you ssm!! :)

Al went through the rest of the week, happy that she'd dropped all the useless, boring subjects, and thoroughly enjoying her NEWTs. Alchemy was particularly interesting, and they did all about the basic laws and definitions, flying through the course. They studied loads of new equations in Arithmancy, and Al was loving Potions. She basically just got to do what she loved in the peaceful presence of not-Snape. The NEWT course also had a lot more theory, which Al found fascinating. Charms and Transfiguration were both proving more difficult than expected, as they were now doing silent spell-casting, but after a lot of practice, Al managed to get the spells by the end of the lessons.

Magical Theory was spectacular. There was a lot of Arithmancy involved, but it explained all about the different syllables of spells and what they did. Not many people studied it though - it was only her Arithmancy class, minus Hermione and Theo. Al elected to sit next to Susan Bones, and they got on fairly well, although she undoubtedly asked loads of questions about Harry and the Department of Mysteries, which forced Al to think of her own prophecy.

The end of the week brought a free Saturday, and at breakfast, Al received a letter. She wondered briefly if it could be from Remus, as she hadn't heard from him since Harry's birthday, or George, who had agreed to write weekly. But then she remembered Remus was on a mission and she hadn't sent her letter to George yet, so he can't have replied. She untied the scroll and read through it.

To Al, Please meet me in my office tomorrow afternoon at one o'clock for your first private lesson. The password is acid pops. Professor Dumbledore

She showed it quickly to Daphne and Theo who grinned excitedly before stuffing it in her pocket. "What do you think it is?" Daphne asked, pouring more coffee.

"Well he's showing me how to help Harry take down Voldemort, isn't he?" Al explained.

"What are we doing today then?" Theo asked.

"Well I need to put the Duelling Club notice up, and send my letter to George. Oh and I need to finish my Transfiguration and Magical Theory essays," she listed.

"I did my Transfiguration yesterday," Theo said.

"Well, I think we're going to go for a walk," Daphne said.

"Alright, lovebirds," Al said with a grin, grabbing the notice and standing up, "I'll be in the library until lunch, then. See you later."

"Bye," they said together, smiling as Al headed out to the notice board. She skim read it again once more before sticking it down.

Al then headed off to the owlery and sent Dill off with her letter before going to the library. She spent half an hour finishing her Transfiguration essay, and was reaching the conclusion of her Magical Theory essay when someone sat down at her table.

Al looked up and saw Draco sat there, the usual guilty plea on his face. She sighed. "Give me ten minutes," she whispered, "I'm almost done." He looked surprised but then nodded, going off to find a book to read. Ten minutes later, Al packed up her parchment, quill, and ink and Draco softly closed his book.

He had dark rings under his eyes, and looked about as thin as Remus had. "Shall we go for a walk?" Al suggested, and he nodded. The pair walked in silence for ten minutes until they found an empty stairwell and slumped down on the steps. "How are you?" she asked gently.
