Zane's hand was holding mine like life depended on it as we exited the hotel. Last nights bullets to still rung in my ears. The event terrified me but I wouldn't let anyone know it.

Every part of me just wants to curl up in a ball and cry about my circumstances. But crying doesn't help anyone. So I hold in my tears and think about the future and how great it could be.

In a blur we were in Zane's car and speeding down the highway. Zane drove for about an hour before he pulled into a county road. A few miles later we drove down a driveway surrounded by trees.

Not very far down the driveway a large 10 foot wall and gate could be seen. Two guards stood outside the gate and as soon as they saw Zane's car they hurried to open it.

After we pulled through, I watched as the large gates closed. Sealing my fate right along with it.

"Were home." He mumbled. As we rounded a curve I watched it appear.

The house was a large 2 story house covered in ivy. The Large windows allowed the light to escape from inside showing the warm decoration.

"Our house?" I asked shakily while stepping out the car

"Our house?" I asked shakily while stepping out the car.

"Our house." He replying while helping me with my door.

"Woah." I gazed in marvel. he grabbed my hand and started up the steps. I jerk my hand away from his and shoot him a small glare before walking up myself.

It wasn't seconds later I realized the 20 security men behind us following us up the stairs. Zane stole this chance to grab my hand again.

"Put in a show. Remember?" He teased in my ear. He was right so I kept my hand in his, but not before giving his hand a good squeeze.

The thumping of someone trying to get up the stairs faster followed me and I turned to find my security guard in close tow.

"Hello tattle tail." I tease once he's at my side. He doesn't respond instead he turns to Zane.

"I believe it's a custom to carry your bride into your new home." Tattle tail tells Zane.

That's all I needed to hear before I picked up the pace trying to escape Zane but he was too fast. Seconds later he was carrying me bridal style and stepping in the house.

The feeling of being enchanted hit me as soon as we walked in. The house was wonderfully trimmed in gold and brick. Every piece of furniture was placed expertly placed making it feel bigger than it already was.

"How big is this place?" I mumble in awe glancing around.

"Big enough for now" he replied heading into a different room. It wasn't until I was moving with him did I realize he was still carrying me.

"How many bedrooms?" I say sliding down from his grasp on my own 2 feet.

"16 I think." He replied now leading me up the brick stair case. To the left there was a short hallway with a door.
