Nothing is as exciting as buttoning up your wedding dress, or so I've heard. I run my fingers over the lacy pattern trying to suppress my nerves.

"You look Gorgeous." The maid says from over my shoulder. I send a smile her way but nothing more. "Oh look someone knocking."  She says cheerfully and practically floats to the door.

I watch from the mirror as she opens the door and all happiness escapes from her face. "Oh..hello sir," she says just over a whisper. Zane steps in the door wearing a dark suit and his hair tousled.

"Leave us." He says in his authoritative voice. The maid all but ran out of the room leaving me puzzled.

From the mirror I can see him approach from behind watching my every move.

"Wow angel," he sighs leaning up against the large velvet sofa. "You look good."

I short laugh escapes my lips as I check over my self in the full length mirror

I short laugh escapes my lips as I check over my self in the full length mirror. "So do you zane." She smile wide. "So do you."

"Don't I know it ." He winked in my direction. "Your family just arrived and your brother is waiting to walk you down the aisle."

"How much time do I have?" I ask fiddling with my fingers not bothering to look around.

"Starts in 5 minutes, but you could take as long as you want until you feel comfortable." He answered.

"I'll see you in 5." I reply as I watch him slowly exit the room.

...........ZANE............

I leave Moriah alone and head to Alexander's room to give him the five minute warning. Coming upon the door I enter without knocking and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the girl sitting in the chair.

"Who are you?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

"OH" She says her eyes wide like a dear caught in the headlights. "Alexander...called me, to uh- help with him getting ready."

"Well, wasn't that kind of you." I close the door with my foot slowly.

"Hey honey, would you mind handing me that tie on the the dresser over there?" I hear Alexander's voice from the bathroom.

"Coming." She jumps from the chair and heads is way with the tie. "Here you go." She says after entering the room and out of sight.

"What no kiss? " Alexander's laugh could be heard.
