Soulmates; a new beginning (pt2)

There were two single beds at opposite sides of the room, two wardrobes and two bedside tables. It was a blank canvas, ready to be decorated, ideas spilled into my head as I envisioned everything I had ever wanted in my room. "So which side would you like?" Yoongi asked, I guessed that he was also thinking about the endless possibilities of this room. "Can I have this side, by the window" I walked towards it, there was a view of the front path, so I could always see who was coming into the house, it made me feel safe.

I sat on my new bed, feeling the soft duvet with my fingers, "is this what you expected?" Yoongi asked, sitting on his bed opposite me. "I'm not really sure I had time to expect things, all of a sudden we just got here, but if I had expectations this house has exceeded them all."
"What about the others?"
"What about them?"
"Well, is it awkward living with a bunch of guys?"
"Actually I feel safe, they seem friendly, and extremely fit, I know they could knock the lights out of someone if they tried. If anything you should be the one feeling awkward, you're not going to get jealous, right?" Yoongi looked as if he was about to say something when there was a knock on the door, "hold that thought" I winked at him, "come in."

The door creaked open, and Jin walked in holding a plate, "I baked these cookies earlier for you both, as a welcome gift." He walked over and I grabbed a cookie from the plate, "thanks, these look delicious" I smiled and proceeded to eat the cookie whilst he handed Yoongi one. "I'm the funny one here, also worldwide handsome, you know?" He then placed the plate on my bedside table and faced me, "how do you make holy water?!" He was laughing already, a strange, but heartwarming laugh that reminded me of car windscreen wipers. "I don't know, how?"
"You boil the hell out of it!" He burst into laughter and I couldn't help but laugh too, Yoongi sniggered a bit. "Anyways, I'll leave you guys to it, eat the cookies quick, whilst they're still quite warm" he waved and closed the door once he had left, I could hear him laughing on the other side.

"Anyways," Yoongi got up and grabbed another cookie, "I wouldn't get jealous because we are soulmates, we are meant to be. Also everyone else here has found their soulmate and are happily dating, so I have nobody to be jealous of" he smirked. I got up and walked over to him, "good, because some people are really bad at being jealous and it ruins a relationship." I kissed him gently on his lips and then grabbed another cookie on the way back to my bed.

"Everything's going to be different now" I sighed, not sure whether this was a good or bad thing.

"Hold on, I haven't been to school in months!"
