Soulmates; a new beginning (pt2)

Once I was showered and dressed I walked downstairs, everyone apart from Namjoon and Jin, who were making the dinner, was in the living room, I walked in and sat beside Yoongi. Everyone's eyes were glued to the TV screen, Friends was on. This was the type of thing I could seriously get used to. Everyone laughed as Ross shouted, "Pivot!"

"Guys, dinners ready!" I heard Jin shout, I got up but nobody else did, their eyes were addicted to the screen. So I turned off the TV, making them all look up at me, "dinner?" I gestured towards the dining room opposite. One by one they got up and trudged out of the room, making me feel as though I had achieved something, like herding sheep.

There was a range of different foods, from noodles to curries and rice. Immediately we all began eating, not stopping until every last bit of food was gone.

"Is the food as good as this every day?!" I asked excitedly, this new beginning was really starting to look up. "Well, only Jin can make food as perfect as this, so whenever he's cooking you know that it'll be a great meal!" Namjoon put his arm around his boyfriend. "And pizza on Friday is good too!" Jungkook continued, "we always order a pizza on Friday and watch a movie, it's the best!"
"That reminds me, Yoongi, what happened to your job at that pizza place? because you delivered me that pizza once upon a time" I turned to him and he paused for a moment, "I think if you haven't been to your job for about a month then you no longer have that job..."

Jin left abruptly and then returned soon after with our cake in his hands, well, technically his cake seeing as all I did was add some butter, sugar and flour. He placed it on the table and grabbed a knife and plates from the kitchen. "Y/N, would you like to make the first cut?" He asked, i nodded and then he passed me the knife, I brought it to the cake and sliced, it was very satisfying.

I cut everyone a piece and handed them out, there was just enough cake for all of us. "This is delicious!" Tae smiled after taking his first bite, everyone else muttered words of agreement, and Jin winked at me.

"So Y/N are you ready for my hour? There's a small drive before we get there but it won't be long!" Namjoon was tying his shoelaces by the door, "I'm ready!" Excitement filled my voice as I finished putting my shoes on.

I jumped into the car and Namjoon started driving, whilst mumbling happily to the radio, I began to hum along too, slowly he began to sing louder and since I recognised the song I sang along with him. The next song that came on I didn't know, I think Namjoon could tell when he was singing still and I wasn't, so he skipped straight to the next song.

Soon after Namjoon parked the car, "you might want to take off your shoes and socks." He laughed at my confused expression, until I looked around at the beach beside us.
