Floating in the darkness of my mind, drifting in and out of consciousness, everything was changing. I was in a bright white room, people coming in and out, but one thing was constant, Yoongi.
My eyes fluttered open, I was staring at the ceiling, the room was dark and I presumed it was night. I looked to my right and Yoongi was asleep in the chair next to me, I smiled at the fact that he hadn't left my side. I looked down at myself, seeing my left arm fully bandaged in a tight, white wrap. I sighed and remembered what had happened, I got too excited and ran straight in front of a car, how stupid was that?
I moved my toes, to double check that I still could, and sighed with relief, I think I somehow woke Yoongi as he gasped softly, I turned to him. "How long's it been?" I asked him, my voice coming out a little quieter than i expected. "Just over a day, not too long although you bashed your head pretty hard" I nodded at this, just now starting to feel the pounding in my head. "And how long have you been sitting there?" I looked into his tired eyes as I rubbed my forehead, "Also, just over a day. I haven't left your side since -Jimin told me what happened."
"And you didn't feel, anything?..." I whispered, a hint of hope in my voice, maybe he had felt a little sting or something? "I'm sorry" he mumbled, taking my hand in his and squeezing it lightly. "I'd better text Jungkook you're awake, he's been worried sick, blaming himself for what happened since it was his idea to play hide and seek." He reached for his phone and tapped onto it, In what world would any of this be Jungkook's fault? I was the one who ran into a road, it's not like he pushed me! "Can I talk to him? I need to tell him it's not because of him that I'm hurt" Yoongi passed me his phone and I looked at what he had just sent, Junkook hadn't responded yet.
Yoongi: Y/N is fine, she's awake and talking with me now, I told you she's a fighter.
I typed in my message as quick as I could with one hand; Hey Kook, I'm alright, really I am! I wanted to tell you that this wasn't your fault, I made a stupid mistake and now I'm learning from it, trust me I won't be doing this again anytime soon!
I passed the phone back and looked up to the ceiling again, "You should probably get some more rest" Yoongi mumbled, barely able to keep himself awake, "actually I think you are the one who needs rest" I laughed as he yawned, proving my point. "That chair can't be comfortable," I shuffled over in the bed, "Come lay next to me!" He shrugged and climbed beside me, "If you start hurting in any way tell me and I'll get out immediately and get someone" Yoongi whispered as he closed his eyes. "Okay, I'll tell you" I held his hand and closed my eyes too, though i needed no more sleep, I enjoyed being alone with Yoongi.
