Soulmates; a new beginning (pt2)

As soon as I stepped onto the sand I was filled with happiness, the sea was like a beautiful painting surrounding us. "Let's go catch some crabs!" Namjoon ran towards the sea, spraying sand at me with every stride, but I followed nonetheless.

"Okay but, don't crabs pinch and stuff?" I asked, watching Namjoon rushing around a rock pool. "Yeah, a bit, Jin had to call me once because he was worried about all the 'pinchie feelings' he was getting." He laughed at his own story, I laughed too, imagining Yoongi's initial surprise at a sudden pinch.

"We don't have to catch crabs, that's just something I do for fun! The real reason I brought you here was to walk along the beach, listening to the ocean gives me inspiration, and I thought maybe you could use some inspiration to find your new path in life." His words gave me hope, that maybe I would have some sort of path to follow someday.

We walked along the shore, listening to the sea crashing against the sand beside us. It was quite late and stars were twinkling in the sky, meaning the tide was supposedly coming in soon, but I wasn't worried. The silence wasn't awkward, as I previously thought it could be, instead it was calming and gave me time to think.

"It's about time to go back now, the tide is beginning to get closer and we don't want to be dangerous." We walked back, talking all the way. Namjoon told me about how he met Jin.

"It was a sunny day when we planned to meet, I woke up to a tingling on my arm, it was Jin telling me I was late. I quickly wrote back and apologised, before rushing to get ready. I kept him updated as I walked to the place we discussed, which was actually this very beach. He told me he was sitting on some rocks, so I walked towards where I knew the rocks were. My nerves were increasing with every step I took, I imagined what he'd look like in my head, but there was no way I could ever think he was as breathtaking as he is. As soon as I saw him I knew that I was in love, it was a literal love at first sight moment. He turned as if he knew I was there, and then he ran to me. It was a bad idea because he was on rocks, but he made it without tripping. We stood in front of one another, looking into each other's eyes, and then he kissed me."

It was a beautiful story and I was in awe of how cute they were, I wished me and Yoongi had met with better circumstances, or earlier than we had, but at least we had each other now.

We climbed into the car and began to sing to the radio, rolling down the windows and feeling the breeze in my hair. I felt free, I felt happy.
