Soulmates; a new beginning (pt2)

Suddenly the pain went away, leaving just numbness to remain. I couldn't open my eyes, but I could feel and hear what was going on around me, someone lifted me onto something soft, presumably a bed, whilst shouting was happening somewhere else in the house. I could hear random sentences, none of which made any sense to me, "they are split now, nothing can get them back together." I also heard sirens, doors opening and closing, more muffled voices, it was all very confusing.

I willed my eyes to open, even attempting to persuade them by saying I'd look at Yoongi more often, and it worked. I saw a bright room, my room. It was daytime now? I wonder how long I've been laying there, swimming in the deep thoughts inside my mind. I tried to speak, "hello?" I whispered, sounds okay, so I repeated myself, but louder this time so someone would hear me, "hello?!" I heard rushed footsteps approaching, "Y/N?" Jimin smiled widely as he ran into the room, he came by my side. I pushed myself into a sitting position, expecting my body to ache or something, but I felt completely fine.

"Careful" Jimin said anxiously, "I feel fine, seriously" I assured him. "What happened?" I looked into his eyes, but he couldn't look back into mine. "We all never knew anything like this could ever happen, and we aren't even sure if what he said was true..." Jimin began, "I'll tell you what he told us,"

Jimin's POV, just after Y/N blacked out
I got down the stairs just in time to see Y/N drop to the floor, I looked at Jungkook beside her, tears were in his eyes, "what have you done to them?!" He stepped into the living room, I followed, seeing Yoongi's dad stand up, Yoongi's body laying unconscious beside him. Tae came behind me and whispered in my ear, "I'm taking Y/N upstairs, you make sure he gets what he deserves."

I walked into the dining room and quickly dialled for the police, telling them our address and what had happened, they said they'd be right here.

I got back into the living room and saw Jungkook kneeling on Yoongi's dads back, holding his wrists behind him so that he wouldn't go anywhere, "he injected Yoongi with a serum that was made secretly to separate soulmates, Mr Min took it too as a volunteer tester and got a syringe full as payment, this is how he decided to use it." I could feel my heart breaking for Y/N and Yoongi, imagining how I would feel if the bond between me and Tae suddenly were to break like that.

Y/N's POV, back to the present
Tears filled my eyes, I couldn't look away from Jimin, waiting for him to tell me that it wasn't true, that none of what he just said had actually happened, but he never did.

"I'm so sorry" Yoongi whispered from his bed, "I'll leave you two to talk" Jimin mumbled and walked out the door.
