Your p.o.v

"Alright, everyone straight line please! I need to know that everyone is here. When I call your name you will step forward and say here or present, no other term"

Ughh! What is that noise!

I move around the bed and awake from my nice sleep. I look around the room to see that the Mukami's are gone.

Where'd they go?? Is it breakfast time?

"I said to step forward!!"

Why is the lady screaming in the morning! It basically woke me up!!

I look outside the window and see that everyone is lined up. 

The lady I have met stands in front of the children while adult men and women stand in the sidelines. 

Wait.. why is everyone down there?? Will I be in trouble if I don't go???

"The brat that was in the kitchen! Step forward"

I quickly get out of bed and run downstairs. I slam open the door almost tripping, and quickly run towards the entrance. 

The entrance door was open so I just ran straight through.

OH WAIT!! THE STAIRS!!

I suddenly tripped over my own foot and starting hitting every single step that lead to the orphanage. 

After a few painful seconds, I reached the end and hit the pavement. 

"O-Owie..." I say trying to bare the pain. 

"Ugh, get up child," she says approaching me and grabbing my hand to lift me up. 

"Ow...careful! Please! Everything hurts right now"

" I hate a child who is late! That will be 30 minutes in solitude! "

"Solitude??? I didn't know there was a regular attendance system, that's not fair!"

"Oh you're talking back now?"

"N-no, just that I didn't--" she drops from holding my arm and makes me sit down on the floor. She places her foot behind my back and pushes, allowing my face to touch the ground. 

"James" she calls out.

I was unable to see who this James person was but in an instant, I saw a few feet walking towards me.

"Stay with your face on the ground brat" she pulls her foot away and I feel a sharp pain behind me. 

"OW!" 

The person is hitting me a long stick.

"S-Stop p-please" I yelp. 

He continues to smack my back ignoring my plea. 

"Enough," the lady says "get up brat, I will not stoop down to your level" 

I stand and look up at her.

"We will go easy on you since it is your first day, but if you are ever late again, we will punish you much worse. The first day I went easy on you, the second day will not be the same."

I nod and she takes me by the arm again.

"James, take her to solitary"

A man by the name of James takes me from her grip and drags me to the side of the orphanage.

"James, what is wrong with you? Do you just naturally hate children??" I complain to him. 

"Wait! James!" The lady yells
