Chapter 51

Your p.o.v

I lagged behind the Mukami's on our way back to the van. They talked amongst themselves as I continued to eat my bread behind them. 

"Y/n"

.....

"Y/n!"

"H-Huh" I am brought out of my thoughts "What"? 

"We're here, I just wanted to tell you that you'll be going first" (Ruki)

"We need to take turns"?

"It'll be suspicious if we all go in at once. So you'll go first and stand with the rest. We'll follow so don't worry too much about it"

I nod at Ruki and I walk towards the van. I stand with the rest of the kids as James takes note that I've arrived.

"How was your first day Y/n"

I glare at him "If I tell you will you smack me with your stick again"?

"Are you talking back little girl, because if you are please do it again, I would gladly put you in solitary"

My glare went to the floor. "That's what I thought," he says walking away from me. 

UGH! I just want to smack James right across the head! How dare he hit me and threatened me like that! 

"Pssst, Y/n" I turn to the right and see that Kou has joined me. 

I guess it's every minute they join? 

Slowly but surely the Mukami's start to join the group. The last to come was Ruki. I assume he wanted to make sure his brothers all make it first. That's nice to know.

 "Okay, everyone seems to be here, everyone enter the van". 

The van door opens and we all step into it. I crawl back to my corner and pull my knees up. I want the kids to have enough space, so I make sure there was enough room for everyone.

Although I was concerned for the other kids I was more concerned about tonight. The vampires said that today was going to be the day we run away, but won't the orphanage want the Mukami's to stay with them? 

I mean they're the kids that provide money, taking away 5 kids will probably leave them plain broke. 

I'm kind of scared, I really hope we don't get caught. But knowing them, they've probably already figured everything out. 

Plus this is the past, so since they're alive in the present, then nothing bad happens tonight. My only question is how do they turn into vampires? Not only that but when they first met me in the present, how did they not know it was me?

I look the same and I have the same name. I would think that because they know me, they'll treat me like they do each other.

But, those questions will probably never be answered, which leaves me annoyed as hek!

TIME SKIP

The door of the van swooshes open and all the kids step out. We align outside and wait for further instructions to be said. 

Slowly the lady steps out of the orphanage and counts us one by one. 

"Alright, everyone is here. Go to your rooms and change out of your clothes. Once you are done you will help the kids with clean-up. Right after clean-up, it's dinner, and then off to bed. Now march!" She says in a very strict manner. 

We all start to walk towards the orphanage and the Mukami's and I huddle up. 

Once we enter the orphanage we all go to the room we share. I walked to my bed and there placed on my bed were clothes.
