Chapter 12

Amy and Lou were still having there Lunch in Maggie's and Amy had taken care of Jesse Stanton, when Tim walks in after seeing Jesse in there. As Tim walked in he noticed Amy and Lou at a table.
He walks over to Jesse and tells him ,"nows your chance she's over there".
"Yes, thanks Tim I know and she turned me down flat even embarrassing me infront of everybody. So stay out of it and don't try to arrange anything else Okay"
He ups and leaves walking out.
Tim storms over to Amy and asks her what she's playing at. "Amy, what are you doing, Jesse is loaded he can give you what that idiot cant".
"Except Love Dad, I hate him and his family so BACK OFF".
Tim's rage inside him escalated and neither Lou or Amy were ready for it, within 2 seconds he hit out at Amy, she and her chair flew backwards hitting her head on the wall which made her black out, Lou was speechless but she was her Dad's daughter and she bought her hand back and hit Tim hard, but he wasn't fazed by it due to the Alcohol and hit back just the same as he hit Amy, Lou went flying over a couples table taking everything plus the table with her as she collapsed the other side.
It all happened so fast that the 4 men who went to help as soon as he hit Amy got to him just as Lou hit the floor.
They had him down on the floor, one was an off duty officer who had some cuffs on him, Tim was trussed up like a turkey, another was a Paramedic who went to check on Amy as she was still unconscious, Lou was getting up and making her way to Amy. The police and Ambulance had already been called, they could hear the sirens not far away.
Tim however was belligerent and violent, shouting out, "I'm there father and they need to learn respect, I have every right to hit them ".
Tim was carted off by the RCMP and the off duty officer said he would be down after he took his wife and
children home.
The Paramedics were treating Amy and tried to help Lou but she told them to concentrate on her little sister and she could wait until the Hospital.
Lou then phoned Jack to update him on what went down .
In the Ambulance Lou was worried and told them what happened to her and about the Coma she was in for over a year, but at that point Amy started to wake up asking what happened. Lou explained it to her.
At the Hospital Amy was taken for an MRI just to be on the safe side, then both Amy and Lou were checked over and given the all clear. As they came out Jack and Ty were waiting for them, Amy ran to Ty and Lou to Jack.

2 days had passed and Amy and Lou had matching Black eyes but other than that they were fine.
Tim however was charged with assault on two counts and locked up.
Ty and Amy were working with a couple of horses so Lou took this opportunity to talk to her Grandfather about what Amy said regarding her and Ty Sleeping together in her room.
"Grandpa I need to talk to you about a delicate subject but I want you to be open minded about it as your doing the same thing".
"And what would that be Lou".
"Well Amy and I were talking the other day before dad came into Maggie's and ruined everything.
She was saying that there's two things she wants for now, first ofì she wants you to allow her and Ty to share her bedroom as they are a couple with a child and in her words your sharing with Lisa, and second she's hoping Ty will propose soon".
" Well, Errr,, I'd be a hypocrite if I said no, she's got me there hasn't she. I'll have a word with her " . As Jack said that he smiled at Lou , then winked.
Now Lou needed to have a word with Ty about his intentions regarding his and Amy's future.
Thankfully just ten minutes later they came in from working with the horses.
"How was it working with horses again Amy.
"Great Lou, it was nice working with Ty again too, lyndy still asleep cus I'm really tired. ".
" Yes she is, go and grab a couple of hours and if she wakes there's three of us here".
"Thanks Lou ,I'll see you in a bit.".
Amy went up to Ty and hugged him around the waist and gave him a kiss asking him to listen out for Lyndy while she grabbed a couple of hours to recharge.
Lou grabbed Ty and asked him to go on the porch to talk.
"Grandpa can you listen out for Lyndy I'll only be a couple of minutes".
"Okay Lou ".
"Sit" Lou says to Ty nicely.
"I want to ask you what your intentions are with my little Sister, I know things are going great between you two but what are you going to do about things, I mean you have a daughter together so what's the next step. Ty".
"Errr, I'm not sure what you mean Lou".
"Okayyyyy, Are you going to leave her to be an unmarried woman with a child or are you going to make an honest woman of her, is that clear enough ".
" Ohh , I see what you mean, well we seem to be doing okay at the moment so just see what happens. Look I need to go to the Clinic". Ty got up and started to walk away.
"Ty, you told Amy you were off all day".
"Well something came up Lou". And gets in his truck and drives off.
Lou goes back in the house and walks over to jack.
"Grampa, don't mention anything to Amy about her and Ty sharing her room just yet".
Then she explains what just happened and said she wasn't sure he was ready to commit yet.
"Okay, let's just keep an eye on the situation for now. If she asks me about it I'll say yes as long as there a ring on her finger, a proper Ring".
"That sounds much better Grandpa ".

Lou is in the kitchen working on her Laptop and Lyndys playing in the lounge with Jack when Amy comes out her bedroom, goes into the kitchen to get a coffee.
"Where's Ty Lou".
"He said he had to go to the Clinic for some reason ".
"Oh, thought he was off all day today"
"That's what I thought Amy".
Just then Ty's truck comes down the drive.
Ty walks in, and gets a coffee.
"Ty, what did Scott want on your day off ". Amy asks.
"Well I don't know what to say actually as we had plans to work together, but he wants me to be his Partner in the Clinic when I finally Graduate ".
"Oh my god Ty that's fantastic ".
"But what about us working together Amy. "
"Well I suppose we still will be in a way, you can't refuse this opportunity Ty".
"Are you sure Amy".
"Yes Ty, I love you and Love it when we work together but we'll work it out, okay ".
"Suppose I better phone him back then". Ty says with a smile on his face.
Ty goes outside to phone Scott and tell him his answer.
Amy goes to play with Lyndy.
Lou looks out the window to see Ty calling her outside.
" I thought I'd upset you when you went off like that Ty".
"Sorry Lou, I was actually thinking about what you said and realized I wanted to ask Amy when she was 19, I know she was young but I really wanted her to know how I really felt about her. Then of course she left".
Ty pulls out a red velvet box and shows Lou the ring.
"Oh Ty its beautiful, when did you buy that".
"Actually it was 2 days before she left and that morning I turned up I was going to propose then found out she'd gone".
"You've had it all this time ".
"Yep, then when you were talking to me I remembered I had it in a draw at the Trailer ".
"Well I can tell you now that she's been waiting for you to propose.".
"Could you look after Lyndy for a couple of hours tonight, I want to take Amy out to a proper Restaurant. We haven't been on a date since she got back".
"Yes of course I will Ty".
