Chapter 14

Amy started to come round and found herself Handcuffed to a bed but with enough length on the chain to allow her to use the Commode and grab a bottle of water,  but after she drank the water she felt the darkness come back.
Lou had to cancel the whole Wedding and they were now in week 3 of Amy missing. 
The pies and phone were on the floor outside Maggie's and Amy's Truck was still where she had parked it when Lou and Ty got there that day. The police even found the old rag that had Either on it proofing she'd been kidnapped.

It was now three weeks and no sign of Amy, Ty was trying his best to hang it together and look after Lyndy with the help of Lou and Georgie.
An officer had come over to go through a few things again just incase something was missed.
" I'm sorry to go over this again but we need to see if we missed anything,  even something small".
Lou, Ty, Lisa and Jack were all sat at the dinner table trying to help.
"So, let's go through anyone who was after Amy in a Romantic way.".
They all offered up names of those who were Obsessed by her Looks as she was Beautiful.
"Those who wished her harm".
"Actually officer no one wanted to harm Amy except for one person who wanted to stop the Wedding,  and he's in prison,  unless he paid someone to take her and that's Tim Fleming ".
The Officer looked at them for a moment.
"Did anyone get in touch with you after the court hearing ".
"No, and we weren't really interested  in what he got either". Said Jack
"Oh, I'm so sorry no one got in touch with you, his case was Dismissed by the judge after he pleaded guilty and his Lawyer came up with a sob story
about his Rodeo injury and apparently his daughter's treatment of him and he just blew his top that day.".
They all looked astonished.
"He must of took her". Lou shouted.
"We've already checked big River Ranch and there was no sign of her, we even checked his Truck for any evidence. ".
Ty spoke up, "Officer look, he is the only one apart from Chase Powers who would want the Wedding cancelled.  He must have her someplace else".
Lisa then spoke up, "Officer, would it be okay to get someone of our own to follow him,  I have a Security team at Fairfield who could do the Job very well.".
"Of course you can as long as they stay within the Law".
"Thank you" says Lisa who then stands up and makes a phone call.

The Officer decides to visit Tim as he thought of something that he's sure was missed when they searched the property.
"Hello Tim, I need to ask you to show me your Storm Shelter as it was missed when we searched the place".
"Actually I was asked, but I don't have one yet".
"Okay, well I'm just going to have a look around then I'll be on my way".
He sets off and starts looking around the house but cant see anything so gets in his truck and drives off.

It's now been 4 weeks and Ty isn't coping well with Amy missing.
Amy starts to come out of the darkness and can hear voices,  one she knows is her father but doesn't know who the other voice belongs to.
Suddenly she feels the sheet covering her is whipped off  and she's in just her underwear,  the other voice is going on about how perfect she is then the sheet is put back over her.
Then she hears them talking about money.
What, he's trying to sell me to someone.
Then the talking stops and she feels a needle prick in her arm and darkness overtakes her again.

Lisa's Security team are watching Big River Ranch and see an Arab looking man come out and shake hands with Tim then drive off.
Tim then gets in his truck and drives off so they follow him.
Tim looks in his mirror and suspects he's being followed,  then the car turns off so he thinks it's his imagination.  He looks again in his mirror a bit later and a different car turns onto the road behind him .
He gets into Hudson and pulls into a local Supermarket.
One of the team a woman with a child follows Tim around the store trying to see what he's buying as anything feminine would be a giveaway he has Amy.
Unfortunately he's just buying groceries.
Another week passes and the RCMP get a call about some clothes with blood on have been found in the Forrest about ten miles away from Heartland.
The Police go straight out there and meet the Hikers who found them in amongst bushes just off the track.
They get Forensics out and take photos and mark where each item was found, Jean's, top, Shirt,  Boots, socks, and a hat. The shirt and top had blood on them.
The family was just about to sit down for dinner when the phone rings.
Lou answered the phone with everyone watching,  after a while Lou went white, put the phone down and fell to the floor crying.
They all went over and calmed her enough to get her to the table.
"Lou, what did they say". Says Jack.
"They said some Hikers found women's clothes and cowgirl boots but there was blood on the shirt and top which there going to check, and they said they'd been there  4 or 5 weeks " . Lou started crying again and so did Ty.
Jack then said something no one had thought about, " If Tim does have Amy this could be a diversion, And I honestly thought he had a Storm cellar ".
"He does ". Says Lou suddenly.
"He told the police that he didn't have one.".jack said
"Then that must be where she is".Lisa said.
Lisa phones the officer back and tells him they think it's a diversion and that Tim does have a Storm cellar inside the house with a hidden door."
He thanks her and phones for a search warrant immediately.
Tims cooking in the kitchen when there's a knock on the door.
Tim opens the door and is met by 6 RCMP officers and the officer in charge, they push past him and start looking for the door.
"Right Mr Fleming where is the door to the Storm Cellar ".
"I dont have one".
"Don't Lie Sir , we know you have one"
He decides to phone Heartland and hope they know where the door is. Lisa answers the phone, "Lou, do you know where the door is at Tim's place".
"Yeah it's in the back of the closet just off the Kitchen ".
"He thanks them and goes to check."
He finds the door eventually and makes his way down.  There's another door at the bottom which is locked and padlocked, "Get the keys, its okay I've got them".
The keys were hanging up by the door.
The door is unlocked and he opens it, there in the bed is a very pale and fragile Amy who looks like a zombie with her sunken eyes and boney body.
He grabs Tim and asks him if he's been feeding her, the only answer he gets is that he kept her Hydrated.
He tells one of his men to arrest Tim and charge him with Kidnapping plus a few other things. He phones for the Air Ambulance then phones Heartland.
The phone rings and Lou is there.
"Hello"
"We've found her".
"OMG, how is she ".
"In a bad way but she'll recover ".
He then tells Lou where the Helicopter will take her.
"Thank you so much".
Lou looks at them and screams,
" THEY'VE GOT HER".
They all hug and cry .
