CHAPTER 6

~JACE'S POV~

Standing outside Mac's, I receive a business call from, Mr Lawrence, CEO of one of my companies, Calling to tell me that the stock income is increasing. I informed him that i'd be there tomorrow evening, and to schedule a meeting with the Board of the company.

Walking into the cozy, home-looking, coffee shop, nodding at the guy, sitting behind Lucas, just for protection."Hey, Jace!", Lucas shouts, "I've ordered your favourite blueberry muffin and ice coffee..latte thingy. Oh and by the way, You're fucking late, mate."

I give him a goofy grin and apologize,"I was busy, man. I didn't check the time. I'll pay the bill. To make up for it. Okay?" Lucas glares at me, "I have my own cash,too. Dumbass. It's okay." We chat about work for some time, While gulping on our drinks, then the most unexpected thing happened...

Two beautiful looking girls walk in, One sexy,tall, model-built and the other, Breath-taking,mysterious and beautiful walks in, Looking for an empty booth. I look at Lucas, with confusion, he is still rambling about Mrs Baylor, his mom, and how she shouted at him for taking a cookie from the jar at home. They take their seats, in the front corner.

I give Luc, a serious glance, before saying,"She's mine. Find out where she stays, Lucas."

He follows my eyes, to the direction of the beautiful women and his eyes widen."Yeah, Yeah...Which one?", he says with a surprised expression. "The one with the long-sleeves and sexy legs.", I say with dreamy eyes."Yeah,yeah. Hey, Jace... The other girl is mine."

"Whatever,man. Just get it done, and get the Background check.", I say, finishing my ice latte, looking back at him, not to seem, like a creep.

I feel a pair of eyes, and take a glance at who it is, I look back at her, gorgeous face, but I know that sad look in her eyes, I had it before, when i was with...That doesn't matter. She turns around really fast, when she saw I looked back. Wow, She's beautiful. I'LL MAKE HER MINE.

Looking back at Lucas, getting back to our conversation, with those amber brown eyes, taking over my mind. A few minutes later, I see the waiter, giving my girl the sex eyes. Woah! really? My girl!?? WHO THE FUCK AM I? wuss.. I am tempted to get up, and mess his face up. But he walks away.

Lucas tells me about the trip that the owners have to go to, It's in Paris. And i get angry because SHE'S there..Lucus senses my anger and changes the topic.

We hear commotion from the front of the store, And my eyes lay on the amber-eyed girl, Her friend screams and says that she's paying but amber girl, fights it. But When she senses the eyes of everyone in the Coffee store, looks at her, she clearly turns red.

Her friend and herself, leave. I tell Mason to follow them discreetly, making sure they are safe. Yeah, I'm definitely keeping her.

Lucas and I finish up the conversation and Leave, going to one of my companies.
