CHAPTER 15

~JACE'S POV~

Cassie told Lucas and I, to drive up to pick up Alex and her. Of course, Lucas was shit nervous, he was meeting Cassie's parents. I Just Can't wait to meet her. Cassie texted me earlier, telling me to leave to pick them up and letting me know that 'Alex looks Hot, Prepare yourself'.

I left my penthouse, leaving with my 2020 BMW 8-series Gran Coupe, to pick up my princess for the first time.

-20 MINUTES LATER-

Reaching the house, switching the car off, seeing Lucas' car park behind mine. Giving him a bro-hug. Lucas walks up to the door, knocking on it. It opens up to reveal, Mr Williams, one of my business partners. Lucas shakes his hand, and walks in, Looking for Cassie. Guess I'm next..

I reach the front door, Looking at Mr Williams with confidence and shakes his hand,"Hey, Mr Williams.", I say. He nods his head. He pulls me out, into the front yard, saying,"Look here, son. Alexandria is like a daughter to me, and if you break her heart. I will not regret breaking your face."

"Yes, Mr Williams. I understand, But why do you all say that?", i ask, curiously. "It's not my place to say, but she's been through a lot. Just accept her for her true beauty.", he says with a frown. I nod, not understanding, Did Mason miss something out on her back ground check? Why don't I know?

We walk in the luxurious house, I see Mrs Williams, so I greet her, and ask her,"Mrs Williams, Where are the rest?" Looking for Alex.

"They are in the living room,son.", she says, giving me a polite smile.

I walk into the living room, and see Lucas giving Cassie her gift and Alex on her phone. I walk towards

Cassie, giving her a small hug, handing her the present I bought. She looks at Alex, and winks at me, Eyeing me, telling me to go to her.

~ALEXANDRIA'S POV~

"Hey, princess.", I hear a deep voice say. I immediately look up, and look down again, hiding my red face. "You look breath-taking, beautiful and Wow.", he says, taking my hand, pulling me up. He looks into my eyes,, and says,"You don't know how much I love those amber eyes of yours.", Pulling me into a hug. I melt into his arms, smelling his strong cologne, Spicy, like cinnamon.

"Hey, Jace. You look Handsome!", I blush, still holding his hand. I hear a,"Awwwh, it's soo photo-worthy." And the sound of a picture being taken. I look towards Cass and she smirks, "Having fun, Al?",she askes rhethorically.

I look at Jace, when his not looking at me, and I see his point sharp, jaw line and his brunette hair, looking silky, I have the urge to put my hands through it. He smiles, it's like he knew I was checking him out.

We walk out the house, Aunt Carrie says,"We'll meet you there, kids.Oh and Cass, I'm carrying clothes for you, in case you want to change later. Drive safe." Jace takes my hand, towards the BMW, and Cass shouts while Lucas stares at her with adoration, "Behave yourself, Alex!"

Jace opens the car door for me, and I sit in. On the way there, I was surprised myself, Jace and I got to know each other, and It was an amazing feeling. Having someone there for you.

We reach the venue, and there was too much photographers, and I was nervous to step out. I couldn't see Cassie anywhere, I was having a mini-panic attack. Jace grabbed my face,gently and reassured me, that it will be okay and took my hand, looked me in the eyes and said, "It will be okay. Don't think about it, Just focus on me. Okay, princess?" I gave him a small smile, and nodded.

We walked into the hall, With bright smiles on our faces, hand in hand,Looking for our friends.

Wow, there's so many people here..Breathe Alex. Focus, on Jace's blue eyes and how you melt into them. Breathe. You're okay. You're okay. I assured myself.

I saw a music band, playing soothing music on the stage for time being. I saw the pretty decorations and Saw Cass and Lucas, Holding hands. I guess they are official. I look down and see Jace, holding my hand holding my hand, in his large ones. And Other women eye-rape Jace, I throw a small tantrum in my mind, obviously.

We continue partying, dancing to the music, And I see Cassie's parents walk towards us, saying,"Kids, have fun, We are going home now, Be safe."

I check the time, and It's 22:12pm. It is late and Mr Williams has work tomorrow.

I frown, I have to go home, to the monster tomorrow. Jace notices my distress and askes,"Is everything okay, princess?" Cass looks at me, "What's wrong, Al?"

"Cass, Can I talk to you, in private.", I ask. "Sure.",she replies.

We walk to the corner of the room, with tears in my eyes, I say,"Tomorrow is Sunday, Cass!" She frowns, "Don't cry, Al. You'll ruin the make-up. Babes, don't worry. We can fix this. But Alex.." I ask in curiousity,"What..?"

"You have to tell Jace. He can help, He really likes you, Just show him and tell him. I know you two are meant to be. I told you, take the risks with him."

I give it a thought. "But what if he runs for the hills and thinks I'm weak?", I ask."He wouldn't. He's changed. Lucas sees it.", she says with confidence. "Don't cry, Al. Come on, Let's go fix your make-up.",she adds.

What if i lose him, too. I just got my first crush. I don't want it to end.. is it worth the risk?

"I'll think about it.", I say to Cass, and she walks out of the restroom, going to attend to the guests.

"I'll be back in a sec, Alex. You'll be okay?", she asks, and I nod.
