fluffy creeper x reader

I know creepers are canonically plants but I like them fluffy.

You are a adventurous spirit (well, player, but hush) and love exploring the world seeing what it has to offer, mysterious temples, monuments in the oceans and mansions hidden in the woods.

You loved exploring the world but you where rather lonely, you had never encountered a wolf, or cat, ocelot, parot not anything.

You where just, lonely, you would love some company but you just couldn't find any.

You had also noticed that you had been getting less and less sleep. You had this terrible feeling a mob would bash down your door, for some reason mobs hated you more than any other player you had ever seen.

Your sleepless night had resulted in phantoms appearing over you every evening and their screeches would keep you up even longer.

You where so sick of it now, you went to your garden with your diamond sword and opened you arms.

"WELL WHERE ARE YOU NOW HUH"

"I'M RIGHT HERE COME GET ME FUCKERS"

You could hear their screeching in the distance, it was coming closer.
You could see their glowing eyes coming at you.

You got in fighting stace ready to attack when suddenly, they just flew away.

They where gone, had you scared them of? No that's impossible.

You decided to think about it later, now you where going to get the sleep you deserved.

When you woke up you felt very refreshed, you where going about your day normally when you remembered the strange behaviour of the phantoms, they aren't scared of players you knew that.

You where lucky enough to have books lying around. You looked through them for info on phantoms.

Apparently they where scared of cats! So that means there was a cat around!

You grabbed some raw fish and bolted out the door with your refreshed energy.

While looking for the cat you had too look out for leftover creepers from the night.

While walking through the forest you quietly yelled (like y'know whisper yelling)

"Here kitty kitty kitty..."

It sounded ridiculous but hey! It might work.

After about an hour without luck you decided to go home.
You sigh

"Guess I'll never find a companion in this endless world huh."

You suddenly heard a hiss behind you, you turned around and jumped away. It was a creeper but it was... different.
It had fluff on its body.

Then it hit you
The phantoms had mistaken this creeper for a cat.

You ran away from it too your home as fast as possible, the creeper kept chasing you and you managed too close your door before it was at your home.

You went to your bed and floped down.
You where almost falling asleep again when you heard a noise, it sounded like whining.

You followed it and the creeper was still at your door.

"If I let you in you'll blow me up so no can do buddy"
It looked at you sadly

"Do you promise you won't blow me up." It's not like you couldn't use the company.

It nodded.
You let it inside and it looked around. Then it looked back at you.

It walked towards you and put it's head on your stomach.

It made a purring noise when you carefully patted it's head.

"You know, your kind of cute..."

It made a happy noise when you said that.

"Do you have a name?"

It looked at you strangely.

"I guess that's no huh. Well I'm (Y/N)."

It made a tiny jump

"Do you want a name?"

It nodded again.

"I'll call you... *insert a name*"

It jumped up and into your arms and snuggled close to you.

"You like that name huh..."

After:
You and your creeper buddy are an awesome duo of shock exploring the world together.
He also likes his cuddles.

Decided I wanted something shorter this time, since I don't have requests to work on things will be rather slow.
