"He looks like a fun kind of trouble"

I couldn't remember the last time I felt like this

I couldn't remember the last time I felt like this. There weren't any cameras flashing in my face or paparazzi hiding in the bushes. I didn't have a worry in the world right now. By the looks on my girls' faces, they didn't either. I chuckled to myself already amused by the wild stories they would have in the morning.

My whole body felt warm as I danced on Izzy. I had been ready to dock the boat since we made our deal. From what I felt on my backside, we were going to have a lot of fun tonight.

I felt a jolt of chills all over my body, just imagining how good it was going to be. Thank God women didn't have visible boners. It felt like I hadn't ever gotten out of the water.

Just as I was trying to forget yesterday's trouble, I felt my phone vibrating on my hip.

My Husband.

I hit ignore so fast, I almost dropped my phone into the lake.

"Who was that?" Izzy asked with a smirk.

"No questions remember?" I smirked back. He chuckled and nodded.

"Are we on the way to Cozumel? How long are we going to be on this boat?" He asked with a raised brow. I smiled at how smoothly he changed the subject.

"I'll be right back." I tapped his chest and went to find Lina. I ran into Brittany instead.

"Are you ready to go? I am. I don't know what it is, but I feel so warm and fearless. I'm ready for anything right now." Brittany blurted out as soon I got close enough.

"Why are you moving your arms like that? Stop it." I asked, losing my initial train of thought. She was flinging her arms around like she had just gotten them. " Anyways, same. That's what I came over to ask you. I was looking for Lina since this was her idea. Tell Terrance to dock the boat. I'm ready to beat you hoes and collect my money." I stuck my tongue out at her.

"I'll put my money on anybody but you. You will never cheat on Ty. You love the toe jam on that white boy. I don't care how mad you are."

I rolled my eyes at her. "Don't be so sure. I already have my new target." I shifted my eyes toward Izzy.

"He looks like a fun kind of trouble." she peered over her cup in his direction, as she took a sip.

"Mhmmm..." I beamed proudly.

"This is such a vibe! I love you guys so much. We needed this. Everything has just been so crazy and-" I put my finger on her lips to interrupt her.

It felt good seeing my girls have a good time, but we still had to be careful. Brittany was never emotional. I was starting to think this vibe was more than the refreshing country air.

Brittany was talking fast, her pupils were dilated, and she had licked her lips 100 times.

Eva

Since Eva was Mariah's assistant, I knew this was more so her doing.

I realized my finger was still on Brittany's lips while I was zoned out. She stood frozen like I had cast a spell on her. I quickly removed it as I snapped out of it.

"Go get Terrance to dock the boat," I instructed.

I laughed watching her sprint to find Terrance. As my eyes followed her, Izzy caught my attention again. He signaled for me to hurry by tapping his watch. I mouthed, "okay." and opened our group chat.

Me:

Me: Eva drugged us with Molly!

Me: Eva drugged us with Molly!

Eva: Bingo! Another point to Charlie. That was also an impressive power move. By revealing it in the chat instead of coming to tell me in person, the ones who have yet to guess the drug, can no longer attempt that task.  Are we still going to get the upset we thought we were? Charlie isn't letting up.

I laughed at Eva's commentary. She was the Shannon Sharpe of the group chat during our games.

Lina: We expected her to get that one. She's a doctor. Also, I already guessed it. Gotta be quicker than that.

Mariah: Exactly. She's late. It means nothing. I'm not worried.

Eva: The girls are seemingly unbothered by Charlie's lead. Looks like it may end up being a photo finish.

Me: You should be worried. There's only the one-night stand left and Jason is funny looking.

Brittany: Agreed. Mariah should lose based on her partner alone.

Lina: I'll third that. If you do nasty stuff with him tonight, we will disqualify you. Ew.

Mariah: lol Fuck ya'll!. No loopholes to get out of paying me!

Me: By the time I'm done with ole boy, that will have been 24 hours of ignoring Tyler and I will have won. For breakfast, I want my 50k in all big blue face 100's.

Mariah: We'll see! The boat just docked. See you whores at the finish line

I closed my phone and prepared to finish this game once and for all.

We traditionally created these girls trip challenges any time we were all hanging out. However, this was the first time it was this risqué. They thought this new list was going to psyche me out and end my undefeated reign.

6 months ago, it would have. I wouldn't have ever dreamed of sleeping with another man.

Everything was different now.

I didn't feel a thing as I ignored another call from Tyler.

Tyler: Find something safer to do than ignoring me. End this game and answer the fucking phone.

I was inebriated, so I couldn't tell if he was talking about the challenge or this game of a marriage we had.

I could feel his rage through the text, which pissed me off even more.

He did this.

He cheated.

I blocked him before he could blow my high.

This entire weekend was curated to help me feel better. I couldn't let Tyler ruin it now. If I knew him, he was putting his plan together to pop up. He was predictable. I wasn't ever racing Mariah. I was racing him.

My husband was lunatic, but I wasn't scared.

I hope Izzy isn't either.
