"Oh I guess business must be motherfucking booming in Atlanta." I said frustrated, standing up from my chair.
"Word is ignoring a Jones Brother for 24 hours will get you 50k right now. Some bet the girls are doing while they are down there showing their ass. Call their self having a hot thot freak bitch summer!"
"What the fuck is that? You think Charlie is serious about the divorce? Is the case getting to her?" I asked, turning my attention to my right hand man Mark.
"She's not going to get the divorce before the trial. She already said that. That will keep her from having to testify against you. I don't know about after. She may actually might go through with it. She's not fucking with you right now for sure." He replied.
Mark was right. When you have years of history with someone, any type of betrayal hits different.
I wanted a chance to fix it. It's only been us for so long, I feel naked without her. We're business partners and we still co-parent our blended family, but I don't know if I'm ready for a life without her intimately.
I'm definitely not ready for her to move on.

"That's cause y'all ain't fucking anymore. Y'all have a kid together and you have her saved in your phone under big dawg" Travis pointed out.

"Well book me a flight too. I told to Lina to keep playing and I was gonna knock her big block ass head off. She said she don't care Charlie can put it back on." Mark directed at me. I shook my head and ignored him. I knew he wasn't serious. They haven't been together in years.
