Running. That's all Izuku felt he did anymore. Running from villains, running from his past, it didn't matter.
It was a good thing he absolutely loved it.

I should probobly give some context. Behold, Midoriya Izuku, black hair with dark green highlights, emerald eyes, 10 years old and also one of the most respected vigilantes in Japan, despite his young age, and being quirkless.

See, in this day and age, quirks are a huge thing. 80% of the population has one. There are of course that 20% that happens to be quirkless, (like Izuku) but of course, nobody cares enough to acknowledge them, and if they are, they are usually seen as less then human.

Quirks can range from super strength to flight and to basically anything you can imagine.

When Izuku was declared quirkless at the tender age of 4, Izuku's parent's were surprised to say the least. You would think that they would brush it off and say, "well, that sucks. Now, have you done your homework yet?" but no. Izuku's parents were not those kinds of people. When they found out they went ballistic. They tried to be nice to Izuku, but he knew they were faking.

However, when Izuku's dad, Hizashi, left, his mother did not hold back her rage anymore. Every night, she got drunk and came home for his daily beating. He always supported bruises, whether it be from the constant bullying or from his mother.
Scrapes and burns were common, which led to him having a extremely high pain tolerance for a kid. Red spider lilies (the flower that signifies death) and notes telling him to go kill himself were put on his desk daily. Around the age of 7, he had had enough.

He ran away and fixed up a home for himself in Danpora beach, a place completely filled to the brim with trash that nobody had decided to clean.
Thanks to his grades at school being way higher than average and him teaching himself at a young age to hack and build at a professional level, he managed to build himself a pretty medium size house out of a few buses he managed to find and weld together. He made a living helping a pro-hero named Power Loader build support gear.

They had met a while back at a drug bust while Izuku was vigilanti-ing (?) and quickly hit it off.

The deal was Power loader didn't ask who he was or arrested him and let him use his workshop and he would help make support gear and always be on backup when power loader needed him.

This was where he built his mask.

While his clothes were nothing out of the ordinary (besides being fireproof and very durable), his mask was decked out in all sorts of cool shit. It looked like a regular "you can buy this shitty thing at the store for like 2 bucks" kind of mask, it held all sorts of secrets, including a voice changer, eye protector, and air filter for gas type quirks (like midnight).

This job, while gave him support gear, and paired with being a vigilante, gave him something to do, did not give him much time to eat or sleep. Not that he had much food anyways.

The job, while helpful, did not pay, and besides the occasional few dollars he got from working at the animal shelter (he always told them he wasn't working there for money, but the nice old lady that runs the place wouldn't have it), he didn't really eat. Being malnourished sucks, but Izuku couldn't bring himself to steal do something illegal. Being a vigilante didn't count as breaking the law because he had never technically "broken the law." Using a quirk without a license didn't apply to him and he always let his attackers move first, succumbing them to the self defense law.

Now that that's out of the way, where was I?

Oh yes, running.

This time Izuku was running from Eraserhead, an underground pro-hero, and by far Izuku's favorite. After a slime incident a few months ago and his used to be favorite pro All Might basically told him to quit his dreams and then left him on a very high rooftop, Eraserhead had jumped up to first place ( AN. yes, i put the slime incident a lot earlier than it was, but it helped the plot).

Anyways, Izuku, or, in his vigilante persona, Sukuinushi (Suku, for short), had managed to find himself up against Eraser again. He had been tying up a lower ranked villain at the end of one of his patrols when Eraser had shown up. Suku sighed, it was around 3 am and he was very tired. He had skipped out on his nap yesterday and that was costing him.

After a few minutes of going in circles to lose the older man behind him, he stopped on a relatively flat rooftop and spun around just in time to see the other man land on the roof a few feet away.

"Eraserhead, I know you have to catch me for, like, legal reasons, but today I am honestly not in the fucking mood."
Yes, you could say he was a little pissed, but what can you do when your running on barely any sleep (AN: my right now, honestly. i feel the same, annoyed as hell at my Insomniatic self).
Suku sighed, "look, how about we make a deal. You let me go tonight only and i will anwser any 3 questions of your choice, ok?" he asked, exasperation leaking into his voice.

Eraser thought about it for a while, finally sighing and giving a deadpan face.

"you better not lie."

He took it a yes and sat down.
