Sukuinushi (BNHA fic)

"What's up quirkless reject?"

Izuku immediately tensed and stilled, keeping his breaths shallow.

He could hear the smirk in Fukashi's voice. Izuku mentality cursed himself, how the hack did he not sense him coming? Izuku took a deep breath, steeled himself, then whirled around, wincing at the object pointing at his back slashed him. Izuku grabbed the object, which he learned was a screwdriver, and twisted it out of Fukashi's hand, before kneeing him in the stomach. He then twisted his hand behind his back, before finally knocking him out from pushing a pressure point on his neck.

That was.... really easy.

After sitting Fukashi's body against the crane, he turned back to Maindo. As he peered out from behind the crane, he spotted Maindo still in the center of the clearing.

Idiot...

However, Izuku knew from experience never to underestimate your opponents. He silently pressed a button on his gloves and shoes, activating a support item. This item released a sticky substance from the palm of his glove and the tip of his shoes, letting him climb surfaces with no handholds.

He quickly climbed up to the top of the crane, making sure to keep out of sight from Maindo.

Once he reached the top, he ran some quick calculations and jumped, landing exactly on Maindo's back. He put Maindo in a sleeper hold, then caught him as his body slumped to the ground. As soon as he finished, a loud ring went off, signaling the end of the match.

Once he got done checking on the others and making sure nobody was hurt, he went to the observation room to hang out with Shouta. Once he got there, he was met with expressions ranging from shock to angry to disbelief. Ignoring the questions the kids were asking Izuku sat himself down on the seat next to Shouta.

"Jesus Christ, your kids are a handfull!"

Shouta sighed, "not nearly as much as you." He sent a small glare Izuku's way. Izuku put a hand over his heart in mock betrayal, "Dearest Sho, you wound me. And here I thought I was your favorite!" Shouta sighed and mumbled something Izuku couldn't hear, but it sounded suspiciously like "you are."

Izuku shot a large grin in Shouta's direction before settling back to watch the rest of the matches, and, hopefully, get some sleep.
