Charlotte was talking to her group of friends when she noticed someone enter the main hall. He was a short boy with light blue hair and freckles. He was wearing winter clothing and had antlers growing out from his hat. He sure didn't look threatening, Charlotte thought to herself. She was just about to walk over to him when a pink-haired, spider girl beat her to it. Charlotte didn't like being beaten in any case, whether it was in a soccer match or in getting the chance to befriend someone. She had a very competitive nature to her, it ran in her family. In fact, most werewolves had that trait to them.
Charlotte pouted angrily as she watched the girl take away her prey- I mean potential friend. I should teach her a lesson... Charlotte thought for a moment No... She isn't worth my time. Charlotte sighed and walked off to the cafeteria.

Annette skipped happily down the hallways of the academy. She spotted Jacqueline at his locker. Annette happily ran over to him and hugged him.
"Jackieee!!!" She smiled.
"Ah!" Jacqueline exclaimed as he pushed her away and stumbled backward.
"Meanie! My hugs are great!" Annette pouted
"Uh-huh.." Jacqueline grimaced. He still couldn't shake the fact that Annette was a terrifying monster that could rip him apart in three seconds. For now, he would just hang low. It was going to take a while for Annette to gain his trust.
-------
Charlotte walked around the corner and spotted none other than Jacqueline! Finally! This is my chance to make friends with him! Charlotte started to walk over to him when a familiar pink-headed girl waltzed right up to him and hugged him.
Charlotte scowled, She did not like this girl one bit. Charlotte ducked behind a wall and listened in on their conversation.
She heard Jacqueline scream and quickly peeked out from the wall she was hiding behind. That girl just hugged him! How dare she! She continued to observe. Huh? He doesn't like her? Is he scared of her? Her face lit up with hop. This is perfect! He won't be scared of me right? Nah, that's impossible. Now! Time to apply my flirting skills!!
The problem with Charlotte's flirting skills was that she had no idea how to flirt. Whenever she attempted to "flirt" she would actually just be bullying the guy she liked and that would get her nowhere... unless they were a masochist.
Charlotte approached the two. She pointed to Jacqueline.
"You. What's your name?" She said aggressively.
Jacqueline stumbled back. Who was this girl? What does she want with me? ...I guess I should reply...
"I-i'm Jacqueline... Jacqueline Froste." He said shyly. He couldn't help but feel apprehension.
"And you?" She turned to Annette
"I am Annette Spindelle. Heir to the Spindelle household."
Oh god, not a stuck-up, spoiled brat. Charlotte thought to herself. She turned back to Jacqueline.
"Isn't Jacqueline a girl's name?"
"I-" Jacqueline was cut off before he could utter anything more. Annette jumped in front of him and glared at Charlotte.
"Jackie has an adorable name! It's not like you need to be so rude about it!"
Charlotte scoffed. Okay, now this brat is getting on my nerves.
"Whatever..." Just then the bell rang and Charlotte started to walk in the direction of her class but turned around.
"Don't mess with me. You'll regret it." She turned back around and went to her class.
"You're the one that messed with us.." Annette said under her breath
Annette and Jacqueline walked off to their classes without giving much thought to the previous incident.
