Chapter 7

Several weeks passed by with Charlotte attempting to talk with Jacqueline but then failing due to Annette. Finally, after all of this, she managed to find him alone. She had bought tickets for the two of them to go to an amusement together, just the two of them.

"Jacqueline!" She shoved a ticket in his face.

"A-ah! Charlotte, what are-" He was cut off.

"Go! With me! T-to this!" She said nervously.

"H-huh? Okay..? Sure."

Charlotte smiled happily before running off to her class. I did it! That was perfect!!

Annette was peeking around the corner. She saw the discussion between Jacqueline and Charlotte and was not happy. After Charlotte walked away, Annette made her way over to Jacqueline.

Annette snuck up behind Jacqueline and took the ticket out of his pocket without him noticing. She then gave him a hug to cover it up as best as she could.

"Jackieeee!!!" She said as energetically as ever.

Jacqueline let out a small squeal before realizing it was just Annette. He was still scared of Annette but not as much as he had been previously. He pulled away from her slowly before noticing something in her hand.

"Huh? What do you have in your hand...?"

"O-oh, it's nothing!" She responded nervously.

"Show me." He said sternly.

She slowly opened her hand revealing the ticket. Jacqueline let out a big, frustrated sigh.

"Did you really want to go to the Amusement Park that badly?"

"N-no! I just didn't want you going somewhere with... her."

"So you were jealous?"

"No! I wasn't jealous! What're you talking about? I was scared that she could have hurt you..."

"Well, I'm going to the park."

"What?! No, you can't go!"

"But! You can come with."

"Huh? Really?"

Jacqueline nodded, "Just don't do anything reckless."

She nodded happily, "I won't let you down!"
