"G-go out with you?! You mean like a date?" Jacqueline stuttered.

"Well yeah, but like, as friends. Not as a couple or anything."

"Oh, haha..." He laughed awkwardly.

"Let's explore the academy together! Maybe we could head to the cafe!" Annette smiled happily.

"O-okay..." Jacqueline didn't really want to go but he was scared to turn her down.

------

First they explored the school. They found the second, third, fourth, and fifth year classrooms and looked around those floors. The Sixth through Eighth year classrooms were on the other side of the school so they didn't head that way. They found the dorms as well. Since the first years had only just started school around a week ago, they had not had the opportunity to move in yet. The dorms were luxurious compared to normal dorm rooms at normal academies and colleges in the human world. They walked around some more when they stumbled across the basement.

"Woah! Spooky!" Annette looked down the steep stairway leading to the cellar.

Jacqueline shuddered, "Uh-huh. Maybe we should head back now."

"Are you kidding? No, no, We're gonna go explore!"

"D-do we have to? It's a little scary..." Jacqueline whimpered.

"Don't be a wimp, Jackie."

Annette started to make her way down the stairs much to Jacqueline's dismay. She disappeared into the darkness. Jacqueline hesitated before heading down.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?"

"Relax, nothing's going to happen."

They made it to a big room with a door at the end. Annette walked into the room and gasped.

"Woah!"

"Wh-what is it?"

"Come see!"

Jacqueline entered the room and gasped as well. There was a giant crystal in the middle of the room. It was just floating there. It was a bright fuschia color. He stumbled back.

"Wh-what is that?"

"No idea! But it sure is cool!"

"W-we should get going..."

"Already? ...Fine."

They made their way back up the staircase and over to the school's cafe. They went inside and sat down at a window seat. The waiter came over to them.

"Welcome! May I take your order?"

"I'll have a strawberry crepe please!"

"Can I have creme brulee?"

"Of course! I'll be right back with your orders!" The waiter walked away.

"Woah, Jackie, I didn't know you liked sweets."

"Why? Is it bad to like sweets?" He said a bit defensively.

"No, not at all. I just didn't think you were the type to like them."

The waiter came back with their orders and set them on their table. The aroma of strawberries and creme permeated the air. Annette happily took her crepe and took a large bite out of it. On the other hand, Jacqueline took a small bite of his dessert. Once they both finished their desserts they split the bill and headed out.

"Well, I should get going now." Jacqueline said.

"Awwwww, okay.." She replied a bit sad.

They both said their goodbyes and walked off.
