Sonic's band story with Afterglow pt 20

Hello guys! Lightingfoxy12 here and this is the final chapter for Sonic's band story with Afterglow. Hope you enjoy it!!!

After the show:

Everyone got back to their original outfits.
Himari: Excuse me! We're all heading home now. Thank you for today!
Staff: No, thank you! That was such a great performance! We all hope You'll be back again!
Himari: Okay!
Ran: Let's go home, Moca... What are you looking at?
Moca: Look, look. I found Hii-chan's lucky thingie I thought I lost.
Ran: Where was it?
Moca: Drum roll please . It was in my hoodie pocket! Hehehe, I found it. Maybe it's what kept our friendship strong through all of this.
Ran: Maybe so.
Moca: Hehehe.
Sonic: Man, that performance was great.
Tsugumi: Yeah. We all did a amazing job.
Sonic's puts his hand on her head.
Sonic: You did great Tsugumi. I can tell you're already in their level already.
Tsugumi hugs Sonic.
Tsugumi: Thank you Sonic-chan.
Sonic: Hehe.
Himari: You four! Come on!
Moca: Okay.
Sonic: Coming.

Walking home:

As they were walking, they saw a park in the distance.
Tsugumi: Wow. I haven't been to this park in so long.
Himari: So long! We used to come here all the time as kids, right? Should we take a look?
Tomoe: Good idea. It might be nice to take a little break.
The others go on ahead, except for Sonic.
Sonic: This park... it reminds me when I was a kid. Me and Tsugumi always played there.

Flashback:
Sonic and Tsugumi were playing tag.
Tsugumi: Hahaha! You can't catch me!
Sonic: Oh, I'll catch you!
Tsugumi then trips as she falls.
Tsugumi: Oof!
Sonic: Tsugumi!
Sonic checks on Tsugumi.
Sonic: Tsugumi! Are you okay?
Tsugumi: Hahahaha!
Sonic: Hahahaha!

End of flashback:
Sonic: Man, it's been a while.

In the park:
Himari: It really hasn't changed at all, huh.
Tsugumi: Yeah. It's nice to see some things still stay the same.
Sonic: Yeah. Tsugumi, do you remember back when we were kids?
Tsugumi: Of course I remember.
Himari: Wait, you guys known each other when you were kids.
Sonic: It's a long story.
Ran: Stay the same... I think I've been so against change, even the word itself has become kind of scary. Maybe that's why I was running all the time. From my future, from you guys... Because I just want things to stay the same. But all of that arguing and fighting... I think it's made me trust in all of you even more than before.
Tomoe: It felt like we were all closer than ever before on stage today. I could really feel you up there, Ran.
Tsugumi: I could too! It felt like we were all more in sync with each... and it was so much fun!

Ran: I feel like I've changed... like we've all changed. I think a new Afterglow was born today.
Sonic: It sure has.
Himari: A whole new Afterglow!
Ran: Afterglow shows just how much we can change, while all staying the same. It's... something we should cherish.
Tsugumi: That sounds kinda difficult, but... I think we can do it!
Tomoe: Haha. I think she just means we should keep giving it our all.
Himari: Yeah! Forever and ever, the six of us together!
Ran: Yeah.
Tomoe: Well then. new Afterglow... what's next? Should we try setting ourselves a new goal?
Himari: A new goal... like, writing a new song or something?
Moca: Something deeper than that. Like, erm... hmm... I dunno.
Ran: Our new goal...
Tsugumi: U-umm...
Sonic: Did you think of something, Tsugu?
Tsugumi: What about the Nippon Budokan?
Moca: We're talking about goals here, Tsugu.
Tsugumi: What?! I-I know that! D-did I say something weird?! I thought it was every band's dream to play at the Budokan... right...?
Sonic: I think we should! You're right, Tsugumi! Yeah, let's do that!
Himari: Pff... Hahahaha! Tsugu, Sonic, I think that's a little too big for us...! But hey, why not?
Tomoe: The Budokan... Haha, sounds good to me.
Moca: Very good. Very deep.
Ran: Fufu. Trust you to come up with an idea like that, Tsugumi.
Tsugumi: Wh-why do you say that?
Ran: Forming the band, taking part in Girl Jam, and now aiming for the Budokan... they were all your ideas, Tsugumi. You always start us with something new.
Himari: She's right!
Sonic: Good job, Tsugumi.
Tsugumi blushes.
Tsugumi: I-I didn't mean to, but... Hehehe...
Tomoe: As long as we've got Tsugu with us, I'm sure this band will achieve great things.
Himari: Mmm, I'm starting to think Afterglow might just about be invincible! We can do anything!
Sonic: Yeah.
Sonic looks down.
Tsugumi: Sonic-chan...?
Sonic: Tsugumi, you mind if we go somewhere?
Tsugumi: S-Sure, I don't mind.
Sonic: Alright, let's go!
Sonic grabs Tsugumi's hand as they run off.
Tsugumi: Sonic-chan!
Ran: Huh?
Moca: Ooo, I know what's going on.
Himari: Same here! Let's follow them!
Tomoe: Wait, we can't just-
Himari grabs Tomoe, while Moca grabs Ran as they followed Sonic and Tsugumi.

In the rooftop:
Sonic and Tsugumi makes it to the rooftop.
Tsugumi: Wow, it's amazing up here.
Sonic: It sure is...
Sonic places his hand onto Tsugumi's as she blushes.
Tsugumi: Sonic-chan...?
Sonic: Tsugumi, It's been a blast seeing you again. All of these memories we had together. I'll never forget, especially the performance we had. Tsugumi... I want to get to know you more since we're together.
Sonic looks at Tsugumi deeply in her eyes.
Tsugumi: Sonic-chan...
The others were hiding behind a wall.
Himari: Oh my god, is he gonna ask her on a date?
Moca: Looks like it.
Ran: I guess I'm happy for them.
Tomoe: You can do it, Sonic.
Sonic: Would you like to go on a date with me?
A long silence happened as Tsugumi blushes. Tsugumi press her lips into Sonic as the last the kiss for a while.
Himari: They kissed?!
Tomoe: Wow.
Moca: Nice.
Ran looks back embarrassed.
They broke the kiss as Tsugumi was happy.
Tsugumi: Of course I'll go with you!
Sonic: Hehe. Then it's settled.
Tsugumi: I'm glad that we met again.
Sonic: Same here.
Himari: Oh my god!
Sonic and Tsugumi hears Himari as they were embarrassed by the others looking at them.
Tomoe: Hehe, hi guys.
Moca: Nice one, you too.
Ran: .....
Sonic: Guess it's not a secret no more.
Tsugumi: I guess so.
Himari hugs both of them as the others come in looking at the sunset.
Tsugumi: It really is beautiful.
Tomoe: Yeah.
Himari: Yeah, the same as always.
Moca: Yeah.
Ran: I'm glad we're here.
Sonic: Hehe. Alright! Our next goal is to do the Budokan! And we'll bee the best of the bands!
Everyone: Yeah!
