Haneoka's Festival Race

In Haneoka school:
Sonic: Alright! Festival time!
Tsugumi: I'm so excited!
Himari: Same here! Ooo, look at the sweets!
Moca: Wait for me!
Moca runs off with Himari.
Tomoe: Hehe, looks like they are having fun.
Ran: Yeah.
Sonic: Come on, Tsugumi!
Tsugumi: W-Whoa! Sonic-chan!
Sonic takes Tsugumi's hand as they run off.
Tomoe: Looks like it's just us two.
Ran: Yeah.
Tomoe: Lets go over there.
Ran: Sure.
Ran and Tomoe looks around the school, Himari and Moca are eating sweets from food stands, and Sonic and Tsugumi were looking at the different games.
Sonic: Wow! Look at these games!
Tsugumi: Yeah!
Man: Step right up for the challenge! First one to shoot the impossible shot wins a free tea table!
Sonic: Ooo, a challenge!
Tsugumi: It's perfect for my shop!
Sonic: You really want it, Tsugumi?
Tsugumi: Of course!
Sonic: Alright then! Leave it to me! I'll like to try!
Man: Let's see if you can get a shot!
Sonic: Looks at the object closet as he throws the ball fast hitting the impossible object.
Man: Amazing! You're the first one to hit the impossible object! Here's your prize!
Tsugumi: You did it, Sonic-chan!
Tsugumi hugs Sonic.
Sonic: Hehe!
Man: The people will bring it to you later this festival.
Tsugumi: Thank you. Thanks, Sonic-chan!
Sonic: Hehe, it's no big deal.
Himari: Hey you two!
Sonic and Tsugumi sees the others as they walk towards them.
Tomoe: Did something happened?
Sonic: Lets just say I won something for her.
Himari: You did?! That's so nice of you, Sonic!
Moca: Nice move, Sonic.
Sonic: Moca...
Tomoe: Hehe, that's nice.
Ran: Look over there.
Sonic: Hmm?
The others look at the field as there was a lot of people.
Sonic: What's going on?
Tomoe: It's a festival race.
Sonic: Festival race?
Tsugumi: It's a race where you run around town and back to the field. You need to be in teams of six to be in.
Tomoe: We're all competing in the race.
Ran: I don't know... I'm-
Sonic: It'll be fine, Ran. Just do your best and you'll be fine.
Ran: Thanks.
Moca: It's perfect. There's six of us.
Himari: Yeah! We'll be sure to win this!
Sonic: Yeah, of course!
Himari: He! He! Ho!
Everyone else stops talking.
Himari: Guys...!
Everyone: Hahaha!
Sonic: Okay everyone, let's win this race!
Everyone: Yeah!

Few hours later:
Announcer: Hello everyone and welcome to the festival race!
The audience screams as they were excited.
Announcer: The competitors are ready at the starting line! Let me tell you the rules! You have six people on your team that are in pairs of two in three areas. You both have to hold this baton and the two competitors run to them! Whoever gets back to the field first wins!
In the field, Himari and Moca were in the starting line.
Himari: Aww, why do I gotta go first?

Flashback:
Sonic: Alright then, Himari and Moca, you go first.
Himari: Ehh?! Why me?!
Ran: Weren't you practicing running before?
Tomoe: That's right.
Tsugumi: I know you'll do great in the first one! You too, Moca!
Moca: Fufufu. Are you afraid, Himari?
Himari: I'm not! Okay then! Let's do this!

End of flashback:
Himari: I'll show them the results of my training! Moca, hang on!
Moca: Huh?
Announcer: Ready... Go!
Himari grabs Moca's hand as she zooms past the students being in first.
Announcer: Amazing! Himari and Moca are in first place in blazing speeds!
Ran: ...
Tomoe: Scary...
Sonic: Wow, she wasn't kidding when she said she was training.
Tsugumi: Yeah.
Moca: Himari, slow down...
Himari: No way!
Himari then starts to slow down a bit.
Himari: Aww, I'm so tired...
Moca: See, I told you.
Announcer: It looks like Himari and Moca are slowing down! And look, the other competitors are getting close!
Sonic: Uh oh.
Tsugumi: Come on, Himari, Moca... You can do it.
Ran: You're almost there.
Tomoe: Guys, over here!
Announcer: The competitors are going to their other teammates!
Himari and Moca passes the batons to Ran and Tomoe.
Himari: Go... I'm gonna take a break.
Moca: Fufu. All that running makes me want some bread.
Tomoe: Hehe, later. Let's go, Ran.
Ran: Yeah.
Ran and Tomoe runs with the batons out in the city as the other competitors were behind them.
Tomoe: Let's just keep our momentum and we'll be fine.
Ran: Okay.
Announcer: The competitors are close to Ran and Tomoe!
Sonic: Just keep it up!
Tsugumi: You can do it!
The other students goes past Ran and Tomoe as they turn to a right.
Ran struggles to keep running.
Tomoe: Ran!
Ran: I don't know if I can...
Tomoe: Come on!
Tomoe grabs her hand as they both run together, but one of the students hurts Tomoe's foot causing her to stop.
Tomoe: Oww!
Ran: Tomoe, are you okay?
Himari: Tomoe!
Moca: Tomo-chin...
Sonic Oh no, Tomoe.
Tsugumi: Tomoe...
Announcer: Oh no! It looks like Tomoe is hurt! Now the other contenders are passing them!
Tomoe: Gh...!
Ran: Tomoe... Come on!
Ran holds Tomoe's hand as she was behind her.
Announcer: It looks like Ran is helping out Tomoe!
Himari: Yeah! Keep going!
Moca: Go you two!
Sonic: Come on, your almost there!
Tsugumi: You can do it!
Ran and Tomoe makes it towards Sonic and Tsugumi.
Announcer: It looks like the other competitors are in front of Ran and Tomoe and they're going to their final teammates!
Ran and Tomoe passes the batons to them.
Sonic: Good job you two, we'll take it from here!
Tsugumi: Yeah, you two did great!
Ran: Is your foot okay?
Tomoe: Yeah, it's fine. You two should go. Win this for us!
Sonic: You can count on us! Let's go, Tsugumi!
Tsugumi: Yeah!
Sonic and Tsugumi runs together as they run across the street.
Announcer: It looks like Sonic and Tsugumi are in the back! Will they catch up?!
As they keep running, there were two different ways.
Announcer: Each team must choose which path to take!
Tsugumi: Where do we go?
Sonic: Hmm? I don't pick left, so right.
Tsugumi: Okay.
Sonic and Tsugumi runs to the right as they had to jump over the hurdles.
Sonic: Hurdles, huh? Are you okay with this Tsugumi?
Tsugumi: Yeah, I guess.
Sonic: Okay.
Sonic and Tsugumi jumps over the hurdles as Sonic was going ahead.
Tsugumi: S-Sonic-chan! Waaah
Sonic: Huh? Tsugumi!
Tsugumi hits the hurdles as she falls to the floor, but Sonic goes under and catches her.
Sonic: Phew, you okay?
Tsugumi blushes.
Tsugumi: I'm-I'm okay. Oh no, Sonic-chan!
Sonic: Hmm? What's- gh...!
Announcer: What's this?! Sonic is hurt!
Himari: What?
Moca: That's not good.
Ran: Oh no.
Tomoe: This is bad!
Tsugumi: Oh no, you're hurt!
Sonic: It's okay. It's just a scrape.
Tsugumi: It's my fault that you had to saved me.
Sonic: No, it's not your fault. You did what you could.
Tsugumi: (At this rate, we'll won't be able to get there in time. But, I can't give up. It's not over yet! Sonic-chan taught to me to never give up and I'll won't.)
Tsugumi starts to pick up Sonic.
Sonic: Tsugumi?
Tsugumi: It's not over yet. We can still win. You taught me that.
Sonic: Tsugumi... Yeah, that's right. There's no way I'm giving up! Let's go, Tsugumi!
Tsugumi: Right!
Sonic and Tsugumi keeps running as they find the other competitors.
Announcer: Huh?! Sonic and Tsugumi are still going!
Himari: Alright!
Moca: Thats the way.
Ran: You can do it.
Tomoe: Come on, Sonic, Tsugumi!
Sonic and Tsugumi starts to pass the competitors as they're close back to the school.
Announcer: They're now at the final stretch! Who will come out on top!
Sonic: This is our chance, Tsugumi!
Tsugumi: Yeah! We have to win, for Afterglow!
Sonic and Tsugumi picks up the pace as they keep going past the competitors.
Himari: Go! Go! Go!
Moca: Go.
Ran: Almost there.
Tomoe: You can do it!
Announcer: It's too close! Who will win!
Sonic, Tsugumi: Haaa!
Sonic and Tsugumi runs as fast as they could as they go past the last competitors and wins first place.
Announcer: Amazing! The winner of the festival race is Team Afterglow!
The audience cheers as Afterglow wins.
Tsugumi: We did it!
Sonic: Yeah!
The others run towards them.
Himari: You did it!
Moca: Fufu, I knew we could.
Tomoe: Good job you two!
Ran: Good job.
Sonic: Hehe, thanks, but we all did it. We couldn't have won if it wasn't for Tsugumi.
Tsugumi: Huh? I mean.
Sonic: You didn't give up, so I didn't either. Thanks, Tsugumi.
Tsugumi blushes.
Tsugumi: Sonic-chan...
Announcer: Here's your reward!
The announcer gives them a ticket.
Sonic: Hmm? A ticket?
Announcer: That's right! You six have free tickets to go on a vacation!
Everyone: What?
Himari: A vacation!
Moca: I can eat so many bread!
Tomoe: A vacation sounds fun. What do you think, Ran.
Ran: It's fine.
Tsugumi: A vacation? That's great, right Sonic-chan?
Sonic: Yeah, just hope that it isn't in water.
The girls laughed.
Sonic: Aww, man.

Walking home:
Ran, Tomoe, and Himari goes to their homes as Sonic and Tsugumi were walking back home.
Sonic: Good think my foot is healed.
Tsugumi: Yeah. I also got my furniture at my shop.
Sonic: Yeah, that's good.
Tsugumi kisses Sonic in the lips.
Tsugumi: Thank you, Sonic-chan.
Sonic: Hehe, it's nothing really.
Tsugumi jumps on Sonic.
Sonic: Whoa. You want a ride.
Tsugumi: Mmm.
Sonic: Alright then. Hold on!
Tsugumi: Hehe!
