French Haute Société -- yan ang nakasulat sa voucher na kanina ko pa binabasa habang naghihintay sa pagsisimula ng event.
"Winter, dear, you're so pretty. Alam mo, your face is really familiar, I just can't remember when and where but I really think I saw your face before." Sabi ni Madam Cheska habang nireretouch ang make up ko. She's a family friend and she's been Mom's personal make up artist.
"Ganyan din sabi mo last time, Madam." I looked at my watch, it's almost 7pm.
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming to this glamorous and special occasion. As we all know, this is the day where another fine lady is gaining another year to explore more of her well being.
Narinig kong sabi ng MC, magsisimula na ata. Tumigil na din sa pag make up si Madam Cheska sakin. Tumayo na ako at tumingin sa salamin. Perfect!

I was swallowed with too much brightness from everyone's camera flash as I open the door. Yes, it's my 16th birthday.
Nagsimula na akong bumaba ng hagdan and I saw my big brother waiting for me downstairs.
"Happy birthday, lil sis! Mukhang tao ka ngayon ah."
"Mukhang dyosa ba naman ako everyday, okay lang mag mukhang tao minsan. Duh, thanks kuya!" Sabay abot ko sa kamay nitong naghihintay. I rolled my eyes.
Almost 45 minutes na introduction, special mention at performances ay kainan time na. Pumunta na din ako sa mga kaibigan ko.
"Happy birthday, Winter." Bati ni Dash pagkadating ko sa table nila. Tumayo ito para mag beso.
"Thank you." Sagot ko.
"Happy birthday, girl!" Bati ni Fria sabay beso sakin. "Your mom's strict with gifts, nandun na lahat ng regalo namin sa kwarto mo."
Natawa nalang ako.
"Happy birthday kiddo." Bati ni Reynard sabay halik sa kamay ko.
"I just hope my hand doesn't smell cigar now, Reynard." I jokingly complained. Tumawa lang ito.
"Happy birthday, gorgeous!" Bati naman ni Karen sakin. "I just landed at dumiretso na dito, I'll send my gift tomorrow."
"Don't bother, Karen. Your presence is enough." Sabi ko at sabay send ng flying kiss dito.
"Happy birthday, little Irene Adler." Bati naman ni Larry mula sa likuran ko.
"Well, thank you, Mycroft!" I said as I pickup one cupcake from his plate.
I looked around, unable to see him.
"To the place where the moon meets the sun."
Napatingin ako kay Kuya.
"If you are looking for a certain someone, he left with that clue." Sabi nito habang kumakain pa.
I grinned.
"Thanks, Kuya." I ran out of the building. To the place where the moon meets the sun. Jesus! This guy quite suck in riddle making.
Mas lumapad ang ngiti ko nang makita ko siyang nagbabasa sa loob ng gazebo.
"Really? A line in my favorite book?" Bumaling ito ng tingin sakin at ngumiti.
"But you did found me, sweetheart. Did I sound detective-like?" Pilyong tanong nito, sabay kabig sakin.
"No, Leo. You sounded like my boyfriend." I responded, encircling my hands on his neck.
He chuckled.
"Happy birthday. This might be a little early but here's a symbol of my promise." My heart melted as he put the ring on my finger.
"Thank you!" I hugged him tightly.
"I love you, Winter."
"I love you too, my very own Leonardo DiCaprio."
We both smiled as we seal our promise with a kiss.
Some people might say we're too young to know what real love is but I don't give a damn. Right here, right now, only the moon and the stars know what we truly feel.
