Jackson's POV
With everything that has been going on lately the last thing I wanted was to hear Harmony call me her best friend. Yes I am her best friend, but I just hate hearing her say it out loud. Over the past few years I have known Harmony and became her second in command I have gained feelings for her that I can't really explain. I did have a mate once but not for a long period of time, she ended up dying and I never got to experience that whole love feeling. Even though I never got to really experience love with my mate I think I understand it now, I am definitely in love with Harmony, I just don't know how to express it towards her. I know it will be hard from all the pain and suffering she has been through but I know for sure that I can be her happy ending, I just need to keep those terrible ex's away from her.
Harmony's POV
After a silent long walk in the forest with Jackson we eventually came across the castles back garden. Mostly everyone that was outside when we left are inside now other than a couple of Alphas and Betas but luckily no Grayson or Landon.
Harmony dear, your mother and I are waiting in the throne room for you... Just you please. My dad mind linked me, I always have Jackson with me and I'm always allowed to have him with me so it's just a bit weird that he isn't allowed to come.
"Jackson my parents want to meet me in the throne room." I said turning towards him.
"Ok then let's go." He said starting to walk toward the throne room.
"They only want me to come." He turned back around and just gave me a very confused look.
"Ya I don't know either but I promise I'll tell you all about it after, just go explore around the castle or something I'll try not to be too long, ok?" I told him hugging him and giving him a small kiss on his cheek.
"Ok I guess." He said blushing
"I'll see you in a bit!" I somewhat yelled walking away from him towards the throne room. I feel kinda bad considering he most likely has absolutely nothing to do. I just hope he doesn't get into any sort of trouble.

My mother called out to me as I walked down the familiar red carpet leading to the thrones, except this time it was different. There was another one there, a shiny white one.
"Hey mom! What's this new throne for?" I asked her
"Well honey your father and I have been thinking for awhile now that eventually you will be moving into the castle and taking over the kingdom so we decided to go ahead and make your very own throne." My mother said
"We also customized it with the colour white, matching your hair and wolf of course." My father said
"But mom, dad I don't know if I want to take over the kingdom." I brushed my hand along the arm rest my new throne.
"Harmony dear, you're our only child and the only suitable Alpha to take over the kingdom. Please this is very important to us." My mother said while placing both her hands on my shoulders.
"I guess you're right, but you're not retiring anytime soon right?" I looked back and forth between them.
"No don't worry we won't be retiring anytime soon." My dad said reassuringly while walking up and putting his arm around my mother.
"Is this all?" I asked them
"Actually there is one more thing, that dreadful Landon and his Luna ended up going home. He claimed it was because of a pack issue but I believe it was because his Luna just was not enjoying her stay." My mom said laughing a little with my dad.
"Oh ok haha sounds good, I'm going to go find Jackson now!" I turned around and started walking away.
I cannot even think about being the future Queen. I have no idea why I've never even thought of this, I'm so stupid! I really need a hug, I gotta find Jackson.

Jackson's POV
So uh I'm currently locked in a closet and have no way of getting out...
You must be wondering how I got into this closet, well to tell you the truth I can't really figure out how I got here either. One minute I was in the kitchen looking for something to drink and the next I'm in a closet! I think this is why Harmony never leaves me unattended. Suddenly, my phone starts ringing with the familiar contact photo popping up HARMONY! Oh thank god!
"Hey Jackson I could really use a hug right now where are you?" She asked sounding like she was gonna cry
"Don't get mad ok?"
"Ok? Weirdo" she replied
"I may have or may not have gotten stuck in some sort of closet in the kitchen..."
"Oh my god Jackson I can't leave you alone for two seconds!" She exclaimed
"I knowwww I'm sorry please just come get me." I begged
"Fine I'll find you just try to not do anything else stupid ok?" She sighed
"I'll try my best." I said back quickly before she hung up on me, I think I might be in just a little bit a shit.
